Omg... my head is spining! And wheres my ribbon!!

I woke up today and did my usual... grabbed a coffee and flopped my butt down into my usual seat...

Suddenly im slapped with a realisation... they changed it.

*sigh* Alright here we go... bloody white screen... *rubs his eyes*

Im frickin blind... but I heard there will be an option for a darker version... *looks around*

ahh... found it...much better...

ok check replies...

then suddenly its back to normal.... WtF!!

Whoever designs the new look... You gotta figure out a way to keep the options in the ribbon...

And the new "profile" sucks by the way...

Honestly I discovered a lot about myself during that change.

I realised I do not have strong eyes like other people.

I felt like I had been outed as a " weakling"

Not a nice feeling and many people were so judgemental and did not accept another person can be " different" biologically which was indeed sad to know.

It the "ribbon" that little strip across the bottom?

I MUST HAVE RIBBON!

That is my #1 complaint about the new look/feel. Other than it looks like Apple and Google had some illegitimate love child.

I realized something about myself as well, I don't like change. Why fix it when it isn't broken?
ps- hate the new format and will probably not be on this site as often...it looks too much like FaceBook.

Yes I also got a modern vibe that was like toooooo " samey" as others. I like this look. I come here and know its ATS before I didn't feel I knew it was this website, I felt it could be " anywhere".

Do you know how many times this site has changed over the years,

I remember all the bitching with the current layout, Hell I didn't like it either, Now I love it.

Ill hold out judgement and use the new stuff, I already found many features I like, one of which is the Mobile site is a 100x better.

Which is a significant portion of my own browsing.

The emotes can make me laugh out loud, when they are done with a funny sentence or two. But not those ones though. They made me shudder...

i realized people like to get their panties in a bunch over nothing. the new look is exactly the same, it just looks a bit different.
its gonna be tedious to see a new thread everytime someone notice's something slightly different that they don't quite agree with.

ya I realise that... change is usually tough...

But...

this style is what people know... its recognisable... its been on TV!

This new format isn't going to do anything good for the community IMHO... and its a lot less "user friendly"

And theres NO RIBBON damnit!!

How will I know who's replied to me now?

Sometimes a thread drops off the lists fast and a few days later I get a reply... the only way I would have known about said reply is if I checked my replies...

Though it seems a lot of people don't even know about that feature...
