Oh i know that. Definitely need a contrast and brightness setting for this new layout. But for this moment in time changing the resolution on my monitor is helping my eyes.

Within 5 minutes of being on the new grey screen my eyes started aching

We'll get used to the changes, we always do - some things seem better, one or two not so.

As for the content on ATS and it becoming just another social networking site - I can see that, but a lot of it is Farcebook, Twatter etc changing people's expectations.
It sometimes feels that substance and reasoning are becoming things of the past.

Still, there is still quality about.

Change is natural and not always for the good, we either accept it or we fade away, most gracefully, some of us disgracefully.

Yay! Its back to being the superior easy to navigate site.

Honestly I felt a few things during that " experience"

1, That I had been captured by aliens
2, That I was being rooted out because of my inferior capabilities visually
and 3, That I had died and gone to heaven.

You are right,I do hate change.
I hated it last time but after awhile I got used to it and loved it.

I hope you are right that I will like it in a few weeks because right now,I feel like a blind man in a china shop.

I don't think you are picking on me so no worries,you have your opinion and I have mine and thats quite ok.

Looking at forums though,this site always had a look above all others,now it looks generic.
I am no computer guy so i don't know what all this took so excuse my ignorance if i am insulting the hard work you guys did...its just my opinion.

The reality is if we don't change and try to stay ahead we get left behind, 3 weeks from now you'll love this design too.

I'm not sure bubbles, large print, and awful neon smilies are things I will ever "love".

Have to bear with and ignore, yeah,.
