There was a recent video game called "Freedom Fighter" in which some American rebels fighting Soviets used underground tunnels as means of passage
to safer regions of the city. This brings to my mind the question of what if Falluja resistance fighters dig some tunnels to get into those regions of
the city that are out of the US cordonne or are suitable for leaving the city. US obviously has thermal imaging technology to detect such attempts but
the former Iraqi Republican Guard is known for their expertise in fooling such systems. Any ideas?

Like how the insurgents are communicating via the use of Black Flags, same as Napoleon did, in order to concentrate fire on marine/army positions.
It's very effective, always has been, and it will scare the tar out of you if you see the flag come up near you as you know someone is about to shot
you. I think they are a lot smarter than we gave them credit for and even after we get through fallujah, we will still be in Iraq for many, many,
many years to come.

IMO they will be doing whatever the means allows(look at what they will do at the moment)if they can travel by sewer they will...if tunnels sorts out
there transport problems..they will try that as well...look at the vietnamese during that war....they lived in the tunnels..had schools in the
tunnels..hospitals in the tunnels..just about eveything they needed to make the war ongoing

has created more war than they can handle. These guys are going to be worse than the Vietnamese as they are fighting for their country, their
beliefs and they still hate us from the crusades. In all terms this war is just a continuation of the crusades.

black flags won't win with high-tech.it's much more scary when your enemy can watch you all the time, when your enemy can see after dark, when your
enemy can kill you anytime you appear on the ground.it's really scarry

Since when are tunnels news in Iraq anyway?
It is supposed to be well known that Saddam had several miles of them constructed connecting various parts of his government in Bagdad to some
'palaces' etc so why the surprise the idea is being used elsewhere?

isnt hard for US trrops to communicate in well built up area's
because the radio signals dont work that well?
