It's hard to say, but what is obvious and clear us that the worlds economic problems haven't gone away. WW1 and WW2 both came of the back of economic depressions and once the war ended we had economic booms with all the rebuilding.

I can see our so called leaders using the same flawed logic again.

I think we will see another false flag in Syria with a possible failed attack on israel , Europe or America with full blame being placed on Syria.

Israel will launch an attack on Syria with military support from the USA with aircraft.

I think Russia will end up with a stand off with US naval vessels off the coast of Syria with some high tensions and blame bring put on each other for any skirmishes.

Tensions will rise and the cost of oil goes through the roof, troop buildups in the Middle East on both sides and a potential nuclear attack on some Syrian City, perhaps Damascus.

Eventualyl all out war ending up with a nuclear attack on Europe.

My time table for this is over the next few weeks, certainly before Christmas but full war won't be for another 12 months. Next year will be a stand off with further Economic problems for the world and high oil prices cripping the west.

Of course I could be wrong and come next week America focuses its attention back to Iran or North Korea! Lol

1. US and France bombard Assad's forces and weapons stockpiles with help from other nations such as Turkey.

2. Assad launches retaliatory strike on US bases and allied bases, which would be in his right as a leader of a sovereign nation as long as chemical weapons are not used he has legitimacy to do so.

3. Condemnation of all those whom created this mess.

4. UN inspectors claim chemical attacks in Syria were not of high military grade and therefore unlikely to be the doing of Assad.

5. Middle East in uproar, possible forced resignation of Obama.

6. Middle East bands together for the common good and aims to cut out the cancer in it's region.

7. The Messiah returns and a regional war against western imperialism occurs.

Ok 6 and 7 are just...
well not sure about that and to be honest the situation is evolving so fast I would only realistically predict up to step 3 on that list I just made, those are all highly possible at this moment in time.

Good point it may, but it would not be consecutive terms then would it?

Not sure if US law states a President can only have 2 terms or if it's they can only have 2 terms back to back.

I agree on 1 and 2 of your predictions. I think Assad will keep up attacks over the coming months and beyond even. War wise they are clearly in the winning position as awful as that sounds.

And they stipulated that will not take " Western aggression".
Right on the money.

I hear you. I also think it will go on for years...

I mean how can it possibly be resolved so quickly?

Yep, for Israel it also wont end nicely.

Honestly, Who is aside Obama that is saying this will end nicely? I don't get it!!!!
I thought Obamas advisors were smarter.

Thanks for your prediction. Be nice to look back and see if they happen!

Not meant to end nicely.

Are you being sarcastic? I can't tell. Do you actually believe it was a Syrian soldier that shot at the UN? I would bet anything it was Fsa.

Sorry, yes that was sarcasm.

Such a large convoy and nobody killed? obviously was not a trained sniper otherwise Syria would have been run over by rebels by now. It's my personal opinion it was not a member of the Syrian Armed Forces.

Unless of course he was an excellent sniper and it was merely a scare tactic or the sniper was shooting at Assad's forces that were escorting the convoy.

Better ways to scare UN inspectors or kill them so my money is on FSA.

Again apologies, my humour is a bit dry sometimes.

I wonder what made Clark reveal the plans of the US military?
He was also questioned about 9/11 but think he refused to give his opinion on that. Maybe he knows a lot more than he lets on!

Please-- tell me you're kidding about some of this... I'll star this thread when we can find Frater and get him to fart me a pack of 50's for the rent the rest of this year.

Assad benefits from it economically and wins.
This Orwellian western definition of soft-pedaling an attack is pretty subjective-- I would imagine Bombs+country=instant poverty. DUHhhh
Obama viewed as a war mongerer and as a consequence of going in brings more death.
Obama viewed as whatever the public is instructed by the Zionist media-- and nothing at all happens to him as a result of going against everybody's will except his masters, who also run the international justice system as well as the US and the UK's. More death, count on it.. War Crimes with impunity...it's what they want, get it? Hint: when mass murdering psychopathic sadists who worship Satan own the justice system of the planet, you get this.
Syria benefits from it all eventually, is taken over by a less religious regime.
The regime change will continue unabated and without interference by anyone, and in total deference to religion an appropriately manageable puppet will be installed that follows orders from the BIS and IMF. It's just about a slam dunk also that the last on the list of beneficiaries will be the Syrian people. See Iraq, glowing dead fetuses
Russia gets defeated and loses control in the middle east.
Take a look at world opinion of 'moral high ground', Russia right now versus the US... and another look at the Russian Navy's active assets even in Wikipedia. Russia is trying to be polite right now and Obama/(guys really running the Anglo-American Empire) ain't helpin'. I personally believe this [relegated to reach for that MERV on my hip] would be too convenient and more plausible by the US even over Israel backed into a corner by now. And Obama is cornered right now... damned if you do OR don't and that looks too much like we're all going to Hell.
Al Qeada is not gotten rid of but remains the same.
Game Show BellI-75: BINGO!!
The pseudo-gang will succeed with the false flags/psyops, go back under cover, and leave the large innocent majority constituted by relative goat herders that were infiltrated almost 30 years ago, with big targets painted on them again. I think Muslim Brotherhood=British Intelligence children from the '20s, Al-Qaeda=Zibignew's late '70's CIA brain child to chew the belly out of the USSR... it just became handy to keep them around one last time, eh?
Europe benefits from the invasion despite not sending military in.
For the gas pipeline end of it alone, I believe Putin's skivvies in a granny knot over not maintaining natural gas supply hegemony to Eastern Europe might be a biggie. Remember world wars are always started over natual resources, population culling, and lies. I'm also seeing people online here issuing put orders on sanity. Like I said just before, "This is going to get out of CONTROL...Sen. Fred Thompson R-TN,but he said it as an actor doing an Admiral. I still think he was closer to the mark than anybody here, yours truly included.

Genocide is most successful when perpetrated on an oblivious population or culture. Ergo I leave you with Joe Mengele again-- "The more we do to you, the less you seem to notice we're doing it." We're all done this time. Time for the grass stopper to take a break from ATS now, I hope we're all still here Tuesday.

Syria which presently has the threat-of-force from the Russian & China to back them up...
will enter a deep and comprehensive alliance with the Syrian neighbors Iran-Iraq...more like a union of the 3 countries than a vanilla type mutual defense pact,...the alliance will have the flavor of combining the 3 territories into a renewed Medo-Persian Empire

and as such, the trio of nations (embrionic Caliphate?) will regain the Golan Heights which Israel is presently busy parceling out in gas-oil exploration rights...
international law says that occupied lands cannot be exploited by the occupier for their gain and only existing NGOs are allowed to continue operations which involve the lands minerals/resources/etc

see, the world is tired of the USA imperial policemanship... and the 0bama invite to Britian & other allies to war was rejected
so too will the rejection by nations to illegal acts like the Israeli gas-oil tracts for lease
so to will the rapid decline of the western banking system

Syria and Damascus will survive---unless the Satanic Global Elite see that collapsing the civilization is imperative...they ratrher suicide themselves and the global community rather than be thwarted in their global conquest

Predictions aren't always based in logic.

Infact most of mine are based purely on intuition.

I agree that Obama is damned if do and damned if don't, but still feel its better not to go ahead. I sense its a " set up" infact.

There already exists the foundation and beginnings of a Iraq/Iran/Syria/Kurdistan partnership, which could likely evolve into a strategic alliance.

Let your president do what he must, I believe that Assad is the last president in the middle east that was taken over by...IT.

What’s going on in the Middle East is a cleansing of the ‘IT‘, that wants power, and jumps from human to human in that particular area.

Look at the history of the so called aliens in your history ,and where they may have origented or the history of where your teachings take you.

Every war in the history of your earth is a cleansing of the ‘IT’

FOLLOW THE ANCIENT HISTORY OF ALIENS
AND
YOU WILL FIND THE WARS IN YOUR HISTORY

OVERLAPPING LIKE TWINS.

These wars are much bigger then any body can imagine.

This is my prediction

1. The US will go ahead with the intended strategic strikes on mapped targets, The key target will be Airfields, Defence Systems and military out posts & government buildings and outings will be highly targeted.

Targets on stored chemical supplies will be ruled out due to the potential risk to the surrounding civilian populations. Chemical weapons need to be contained therefore ground troops would be need to be sent in however that in not in the intervention plan.

2. Once an missile strike has taken place there will be a lot of media coverage across the world. Eye's will be on Syria or any Syrian Allies for the next response in wake of the strike.

3. Syria has ballistic missile that could intercept warships out in the Med and a Missile defence system that can intercept incoming missiles. They will be a ready status

4. US along with France will continue to plan over the bow to take out key targets.

5. The biggest confrontation we need to look out for is
- Iranian Intervention backing Syria
- Israel may get targeted with a missile strike therefore Israel Iron Dome will be on stand by.
- Surrounding countries in the ME will be on high alert.
- Finally Russian intervention in the war could spice things up.

You need to take into consideration the threats are only words before any action is taken whether action by is taken by the opposing depends on how the US reacts to any backfire from those who oppose the US strike.

As you already know the UK is not intervening however the British will be defending British Military bases on the Med. There will be a high number of Spec Op's observing any intelligence to.

The strikes as far as I know will last for three days and supposed to teach Assad a lesson.

What ever come out of this we don't know we cannot predict the outcome and how the reaction in the ME will turn out.

France obviously has more to gain from its " union" with the USA in this. Or else it wouldn't do it.
I doubt its going just to make peace, I think its taking a very hard line with this.

It stands to gain financially too.

And will gain from its interactions with Syria.

Plus they would almost certainly know the window is bullet proof and a soldier doesn't just take a random shot without an order to. They would have hit them harder and when thet were out. I would say it was the fsa trying to scare them away from fsa's dirty work. Same with the explosion at the hotel.

My thoughts:

US will strike Syria.
Lebannon / hazbollah / Jordan (possible on Jordan, unsure) will immediatly strike at Israel.
Israel will counter strike immediatly.
Iran will immediatly begin some offensive action.
Jihadist sleeper cells in the US will begin assaults on major US cities.
As the US expands it's opperations to support Israel, Russia will join in on the side of the Middle East Allies.

At this point, welcome to WWIII.

Tho, there are so many possible outcomes, and scenarios, it is really hard to tell.
With the Russian hard-line they are takeing, as well as Iran's "vow" of "retalliation".
North Korea sending supplies to Syria (intercepted in Turkey).
(Assad is already in Iran, as of a day or three ago).

Europe is in a bad spot, with the immigration / invasion of people moving there from the middle east. There is very likily sleeper cells in Europe as well, so it is possible we could see major terrorism there as well.

Pick your scenario, anything is very likely. I can't say it will be fun, but change is the only constant in the universe.

Stay frosty, my friends.

Prediction:
Probable strikes at commercial/military airfields. Denying the Syrian Air Force and air delivery of military supplies and personnel.
Given the data gathering and optical capability, in multiple spectra, of "spy" satellites. The location of mortar/rocket/missile launches are identified.
The "sniper" attack on the UN Inspectors was a diversion. The UN Inspectors did not get to the predetermined sites, but were rerouted to "avoid" attack by "snipers." Don't want them dead, just forced to look elsewhere.
Follow the money, the motivation. Only the Regime or Islamists would benefit from chemical weapons attacks in the short term. The FSA would lose by "false flagging" the attacks. The Regime's use of heavy conventional weapons and warfare has demonstrated a lack of concern for its population. The Islamist/Jihadist/Pan-Arab-Islam groups have repeatedly demonstrated a lack of concern for anyone they deem to be infidel or heretic, and innocents in the way.
Always, Always beware of France. We, America, has become involved in two World Wars and Vietnam because of the French. Vietnam; France ask the U.S. to guarantee and police the demilitarized between North and South Vietnam, and as a guarantor of the treaty between France and the Communist Guerrillas/North Vietnam. See where that got us.
