Then by all means explain the military convoys heading into Syria and Jordan coinciding with Saddam having a sudden willingness to cooperate with UN weapons inspectors just weeks before the launch of Shock and Awe. Why is Obama willing to go alone on this pending strike/showdown? So far only France seems to even agree that Syria needs military action. The UK wants no part of it. Nor does the rest of the EU.

Better yet, why don't you provide a single shred of proof that Syria just got those weapons via Iraq in 2003?

It's mentality like that demonstrated in the OP that makes me somewhat hopeful that Alex Jones is right when he says that we're building FEMA camps on an unprecedented level because sooner or later, we're going to need a place to lock up and house this new breed of idiots where they can pose no harm to the rest of humanity.

Of course, it's his opinion. Links to others "opinions" is irrelevant as well.

That's what this forum is about opinions and beliefs...mixed with a whole bunch of fear....

Syria's Chemical and Biological Weapons

It appears they began long before the Iraq war.

In 1973, Syria reportedly obtained chemical artillery shells from Egypt prior to the October War against Is- rael, but did not use them. 3 The purpose of this transfer may have been to establish a deterrent in-kind in case Israel resorted to chemical warfare or Syria’s defenses collapsed completely, although neither of these scenarios materialized. Since then, Syria appears to have acquired an indigenous chemical weapons (CW) capability, al- though it is difficult to assess its size and sophistication

At least my words have not caused a 40-50 cent price jump on a gallon of gasoline. I can't say the same for Obama. But I guess you think it is better to place people that oppose this regime into FEMA camps than to have their opinions heard and discussed in the open?

How dare you suggest such a thing!

I refrain from commenting in the political forums because quite frankly I'm not schooled enough to have a well formed opinion, but I do read them on a regular basis and I'm learning a lot from them.

Your comment sickens me and is a perfect example of the legacy of the Obama administration.

I've said this before and I'll say it again because its just plain creepy. I am 48 yrs old and cried the day Bush was elected into office because clearly it was a scam. I believe to this day he got into office by the corruption of Fl. And the help of Jeb. I didnt know much about Bush then but what I did know of him and his family along with a very bad vibe.... I knew we were in trouble! It was the beginning of..... Something bad!

911 happened. On that day as i watched the horror unfold i was devasted and blaming these " terrorist " like so many. When the towers started falling within a couple hours i was puzzled. I said to myself.." Wow... Looks like a vegas exacution of a casino being imploded. Wow! I didnt think our people had anything to do w/ it... That day. Howver as time went by I could not get the collapse out of my mind. It bothered me. I started digging and the horror of what I and many have discovered is just so heart- breaking.

Bush is re-elected w/ the help and fraud of Ohio and Ken Blackwell. I was angry he got away w/ cheating us. I grew up fast during his reign in office. I learned the full extent of corruption with-in our Country and could'nt believe the American public was just so selfish as to sit back and do nothing!!!!!

I... We... Leaned of Obama and like a fool i fell right in w/ most of the rest of America in believing he was change. The night he won was like Christmas Morning. I thought we were finally going to see the end to an illegle war... Ect and possibly most of the Bush Admin brought to justice. I cried i was so happy.

.... The day Obama was sworn in I watched that man walk down the sidewalk w/ Bush and I knew right then we had been lied too.... Again! I mean why in the World would he chum up with a guy that lied about Iraq... Killing hundreds if not a million at that point of innocent middle easterners and Americans. Besides... He's a smart man... He's going to bring to justice those responsible for 911... Errrr right?!!!

I knew right then we had been duped!!!! General W. Clarke said he had seen a memo from his superior outlining 5 Middle East countries that we were going to go after. Thanks to Bush/ Obama their plans have so far worked for them. 2 Countries to go if they can get the right false info out there. Hell, they don't even care that we know its all a lie... As long as they can back their lies up w/ doctored paper-work, video, and eye-witness's bought and paid for... They think they're golden. What the hell are we going to do about it??

As long as we have Botox , fake tans, and credit cards to buy hair blowers and pool cleaner... Who the hell cares!!!

O yea... I am pissed!

I don't know where to start if you are still defending the intelligence that lead to the WMD claim in Iraq?

Are you aware that Pres. Bush himself, his entire cabinet and the actual source of the intelligence has admitted it was bunk?

Bush later said that the biggest regret of his presidency was "the intelligence failure" in Iraq, while the Senate Intelligence Committee found in 2008 that his administration "misrepresented the intelligence and the threat from Iraq". A key CIA informant in Iraq admitted that he lied about his allegations, "then watched in shock as it was used to justify the war".

What on earth are you talking about?? Anyone that expresses a different view than yourself is a proponent of concentration camps? Hyperbolic BS much? Reductio Ad Hitlerum...There is your view and everyone else are looking to put people into FEMA camps?

Whoa...So much for rational debate...

Listen to these democrats beating on the war drums. If I didnt know any better- I would have thought I had accidentally went back in time-and changed something which resulted in the switch of ideologies in the two main political parties.

Democrats- you are losing your freaking minds.

I didn't exaggerate what was said by claiming a rendition to Gitmo because Obama closed Gitmo down just like he said he would...oh wait, Obama didn't do that either. But we can trust his word on going solo on Syria, right?

Some people will dismiss this, but given the players who are currently in Syria (Russia) makes sense to me. Then there is the fact they are the manufacturer of scud launchers.

Russia moved Saddam's WMD's.

"Every senior member of a Western, European, or Asian intelligence service whom I have ever met all agree that the Russians moved the last of the WMDs out of Iraq in the last few months before the war." — John Loftus

Iraq's WMDs: The Russian connection

The icing on the cake:

Reuters) - President Bashar al-Assad's forces have removed several Scud missiles and dozens of launchers from a base north of Damascus, possibly to protect the weapons from a Western attack, opposition sources said on Thursday.

Exclusive: Syrian army moves Scud missiles to avoid strike

As everyone knows scud's can be refitted to carry chemical weapons payloads.

More than credible imo.

At least my words have not caused a 40-50 cent price jump on a gallon of gasoline.

And that's more troubling than 1400 people being gassed to death and 100 000+ people dead a year?

I say send the dictator a warning shot or worse. IMO it's the people that are propping Assad up that are the sheeple here.
-Saddam didn't have a chemical weapons cache
-Assad does.
Assad shoots his own people when they protest.
That's not cool, but hey you guys are all about going against the grain here so all good.
Believe what you like

Maybe find out why he has been unable to close Gitmo? Then get back to me for an honest debate.

So if Syria got Iraq's chemical weapons then do you think they would simply sit on the stockpile or use their abilities as one of the few makers of CW's to improve and expand upon its devastating potential?

Syria has all the resources it needs to create something new and terrifying and at this point there is going to be little way of knowing whether they did it for their own ends or at the financing of another nation(s).

Oh for the love of God... clearly one of the channels is out on your iPad. You haven't heard/seen what the Republicans are saying on the matter? John McCain would deliver the attack himself if he had the chance based on what he's saying alone. Neither side has EVER been innocent in the war mongering. Don't try to make it sound that way. You only make matters worse. They're ALL in this together. They ALL answer to the same masters. They ALL need to go.
