Oh no...Please don't get me wrong...I enlisted especialy for those specific reasons and to get in on the action...I don't regret any kills, I don't regret any time out on tour, I've actualy enjoyed myself verry well. My point is, YOU sir couldn't do it, YOU SIR are not made to deal with it, instead you choose to judge those that have done it from behind your PC. A classic keyboard warrior with not real guts or glory.

I am not the one whining about his job on an internet forum.

Show some ****ing pride instead of weakness.

Ok...You want to go there...Lets go there...LOL.

I'm proud to have put a bullet in that damn Iraqi's head when he was rapping that little 6 year old girl.
I'm proud to have had my life save by my brother in arms because he chose to take a bulet the the better of all the group.
I'm proud to have survived and come home to my kids.
I'm proud to have a well paying job today.

And I am sure damn proud to have my military family still out there protecting my little ass.

I never whinned about my job, I enlisted fully comprehending the scope of what was expected of me and as I mentioned in my previous post, I ENJOYED it.

By no means this makes me better than any other man on earth but I can honestly tell oyu, I did my job to the best of my ablilities and love every minute of it!

You haven't even given me a real reason as to why I shouldn't be posting this. If it isn't OPSEC what is it then?

I really have to explain this to a soldier?

Besides that it makes you and your collegues look like spoiled little brats and sensitive sissies to anyone that is reading, including some of your enemies?

Or maybe because you are jinxing yourself, your chopper and subsequently the entire crew by putting it out there that you are flying a chopper over a warzone.

Seriously, if I was part of that crew and I knew, I would slap you.

Or because this stuff is distracting you from your job? You have plenty time to think about stuff when you get home.

This is bad juju, I tell you.

I am sure that you did your job and did it well, my point is just that it isn't smart to be talking here when you are still on deployment.

I was obviously talking about the OP.

He is sharing HIS point of view, nothing wrong with that, no security breaches, no ones lives are put in danger...You are fighting a mute point. Your arguments make no real sense. Saying that he is an escort chopper means nothing....

Give me a break man.

No it is about pride, focus, professionalism and pushing your luck.

Do many of your collegues write threads on popular sites while they are over there?

Does your crew know about this? Tell em.

The hell do you care?

Who the hell are you to tell me how to conduct myself.

I am not here to talk about my crew.

Either focus on the topic or move on.

You come in this thread refuting my sense of honor with some video acting all high and mighty and then you think you can tell me anything about professionalism and pride in the military? Really? As you try to shame me for my sense of honor?

Go away dude. You have made it quite obvious that you are not here to have a genuine discussion. You are here to stir people up.

You'll get no more responses from me.

Well if the people around you don't know what you are doing then someone needs to tell you.

I am not here to talk about my crew.

You shouldn't be talking here in the first place.

You come in this thread refuting my sense of honor with some video acting all high and mighty and then you think you can tell me anything about professionalism and pride in the military? Really? As you try to shame me for my sense of honor?

I just offered you some perspective. It's a war. Your side is basically just as bad. It is something you should realize.

Many of you know that I am currently deployed to Afghanistan. I want to share something with you that I went through out here very recently, if for no other reason than to understand my perspective, irrespective of ones feelings on the political and social implications of the war.

And air strikes from our/your side of the war has hit, injured and killed plenty of children aswell.
Both sides of all these wars, are guilty of murdering children and innocent civilians. But as many say, casualties are to be expected from a war.

Stay the hell in your own damn countries and fix your own damn problems, before you all run of saving the rest of the world. This goes for every damn country in the world. Heck Chicago is more dangerous than any third world country. Fix that.

Waste of resources and life. Waste.

You are obviously a good person. I can feel that.

I think the reaction that you referred to reflected anger and frustration more than hate against soldiers or the military.

I do believe that America has so much work at home, that it should think about protecting their own before attempting to protect others.

There are 50.000.000 Americans living on USDA food stamps. 1.300.000 children are homeless. War vets are treated like sh**. People who are in need of medical care hardly get it or not at all. People who can afford it end up losing all their savings.

Yet, America spends billions when it comes down to military operations, excluding black projects nobody knows about.

Is that the freedom you are trying to protect? What is freedom really? Why does terrorism exist? What feeds it? Maybe we should look in that direction before we try solving anything with weapons.

Wars are not video games:

Really? You would "slap" him? Move along kid, you wouldn't do anything but sit behind your computer and try and tell people who are currently and have previously served how and what they should be doing when you haven't walked a mile in their boots.

Project, we've talked before. Stay strong and if I can do anything let me know.

Allow me to reply

I just offered you some perspective. It's a war. Your side is basically just as bad. It is something you should realize.

Allow me to give you perspective

I have killed in the line of duty, not in the U.S. army but in the IDF

I've seen evil face to face, killed it, and in doing so saved many innocents from these 'Freedom fighters'

Freedom fighters my arse.

Bullies that walk with immunity amongst a civilian population afraid to stand up to them for fear of rape or death.
Bullies that are prepared to kill children without so much as batting an eyelid
Bullies and cowards one and all

Freedom fighters ? Do freedom fighters scare the very people they are supposedly fighting for ? Do freedom fighters kill innocents ? Do freedom fighters use their power to rape the civilian population without fear of reprisal ?

Nay nay and thrice nay

Don't presume to know what really happens in the real world when all you know is google.

Keyboard warrior lay down your venom and save it for those worthy of misunderstanding and brainwashed idiocy

Carry on projectvxn you're doing a fine job in difficult circumstances. Ignore the idiots they are a by product of guys that fight for freedom

Many great war stories here. this line of reasoning could justify the death of the whole world. if there were a way to condition both sides we could keep this up for a long time. that sense of honor right or wrong is all the fuel they need to keep control. i bet within 24 hrs the war pigs will get a belly full. there is always another perspective if we seek.

Isn't policing another country The UN's job? I am behind our troops 100% but not for them being put in harms way for other counties problems. There a child killers in every country. If you ask the typical soldier if they would stay and fight, most will say yes just for the fact that their comrades are still there and it's a true brotherhood. It's just a shame to waste such heroism on something that is not our business. Just my opinion and I wish to take away nothing from the OP.
