As far as Kim is concerned I will bet that his wife had more to do with this then he did. I didn't know that porn was banned in North Korean and with such a harsh penalty for it. Kill someone for watching porn seems pretty extreme, but then again everything in the DPRK seems extreme...

I don't buy either, I think that the porn story is just that, made up excuse, his x obviously had some inside knowledge, and now she was no longer part of the happy chappy's life, he decides to eradicate her because of the inside information she was aware of........... or maybe he was in a sex tape and didn't want to world to know he has a little winkie....... who knows??

Kim Jong-un, North Korean leader, reportedly has ex-girlfriend, 11 others executed

The South Korean newspaper, which attributed reports of the executions to sources in China, said one also claimed that some of those arrested in the August 17 crackdown were found to have Bibles in their possession. Like most communist countries, North Korea denounces religion as an undesirable foreign influence.

So - 11 others were shot some of whom also possessed bibles.

Question is - what got them killed? The sex tapes or the bibles. Probably both.

Interesting the porn angle is being played up instead of the religious angle.

The story’s getting more interesting as it continues.

Notably, family members of the accused were forced to witness the executions.

No I did not mean that she was not executed, that I do believe but I think or sense that it was jealousy on the part of the wife and the fact that this lady must have gotten a little too close to the ruling couple and paid the price to ensure secrets and privacy.

Thanks for the clarification. There were those who believed the report to be propaganda due to it’s original source.
From there - again - I have to agree with you - it wouldn’t surprise me at all if the ‘green eyed monster’ is behind this one. They might come from a different culture but I’m pretty sure jealousy strikes no matter what your race/upbringing.

As for the 'bible' part? I just don't know.

Unfortunately stupider things have happened in the west. Though albeit in the dark ages. I dont think she knew anything important, I doubt there is anything important to know about lil kim or his country or regime. Its just seems like general power trips, and keeping people in line least they start questioning some things which is why they made there families watch the execution.

Questions such as "has our great and powerful leader been in a self made porn or watch it, I mean his girlfriend has! hmm or maybe witnessed some of it on the magical net in that picture box he has " Questions such as that may be of national security up in north Korean politics. No doubt lil kim has an image to protect, and image is everything especially among such a system or any system really and especially among the ruling class, and especially for a great and mighty leader such as lil kim.
