Maybe it is time to remind the western politicians to the fact that they are in service of the people to represent us, not the other way around.
They are not our leaders, they were chosen to represent us.

How did it come this far that we are being spied on, that we are being controled, mislead, paying for their mistakes and maybe even fight their war?

Most people are easy to influence.

Especially when it concerns fear. Daniel Kahneman talked about how he was scared to go on public transportation because of terrorists but when he looked at the facts public transportation was safer as going by car (if I remember correctly).

I have done a study on safety and people feel unsafe all the times because of influences (media and social contacts), but the facts wouldn't support it.

The more you start to read into psychology and sociology the more you begin to understand.
