Shia/Sunni is almost ALWAYS at the center of all of the wars in the region. It doesn't help when you have minority leaders like Assad and Saddam Hussein as heads of state.

Also, no one ever wants Americans around unless we are there to hand out money or free supplies... UNTIL the wolves have circled, and then we are welcome. How about, for once, the United States stayed OUT OF OTHER NATION'S business, especially in light of the fact that there are no 'good guys' in the Syrian civil war to speak of.

I'm all for providing medical aid, food, and water to the refugees and Syrian population who are just trying to survive and flee. I think all sane people the world over can agree on that. Beyond that, however... it is time for America to look inside and fix what is wrong here first.

I'm not getting into a USA vs. Canada slap fest... that's no good for anyone, and Canada is one of the last true allies we have left.
