WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The State Department on Monday postponed a meeting scheduled for Wednesday in The Hague between senior diplomats from the United States and Russia due to "ongoing consultations" over the chemical weapons attack in Syria.

The meeting was to have discussed plans for an international peace conference to end the civil war in Syria.

Just saw this come out a few minutes ago. The article is very short at the moment to.

It looks like the US decided to ditch a pre-scheduled peace meeting with Russia because of "ongoing consultations" regarding the chemical attack.......(meaning they're instead discussing war plans instead)

With the pre-scheduled peace meeting ditched with Russia (no more peace talks for awhile), it looks more and more like the West is definitely going to go at it without the UN. (Im guessing it will be most of the NATO countries taking part again)
