Wouldn't dust on the lens be too out of focus? unless they were very big dust particles...even then they would still be much blurrier...

Those "dust particles" look symmetrical, lenticular,...saucer-shaped...
coincidence of course...

There is an additional craft of similar construct on the ground right next to the rover tracks.



Knowing the scale, if they ever invaded Earth, they could come in quite stealthily... and be inhaled accidentally by a poodle.

Good to see a veteran member making every post count and trying to add something substantive to a thread, but guess what bud? On topic, interesting pictures to be sure, and it wouldn't really surprise me if they turned out to be drones of some kind, whether ours or... theirs? If they are some kind of high-technology drone, I imagine they could be deployed by NASA, it's not too far-fetched in my mind that they have some other types of scouting aside from just the rover. Then again, maybe whatever kind of ET presence is present in our solar system has these things constantly scouting for items of interest.

Of course it could also be a piece of dust on the lens or imaging artifact, but I've never seen a piece of dust or sand on a lens that is that well defined, of course I'm only an amateur photographer but I do have some small degree of experience.

Not really the same at all, but who knows, maybe dust on mars has the tendency to look like classic UFO shapes, cause you know.... space.

Lets take a look at the main points here.

1 Not on earth !

2 No people around !

3 No life on the planet !

4 No atmosphere to say of !

5 No government in control of world !

6 No UFO shaped dust partials that fly around and hover !

7 No other man made things on Mars other than what's there !

8 All we need now is a crop circle to really make this a mum digger !

9 So no people no bugs, no animals, no weather, no natural structures that fly !

10 Only hard ware problems but that would mean we would see it on every picture and that has not happened.

Occam's Razor
Use the simplest means of arriving at their results and exclude everything not perceived by the senses.

Some thing was flying there now what was it ?

id say it was swamp gas.. but there arent any swamps on mars are there?

The sports model comes in white spotted on Sol 365.

Having looked very carefully I can say that both these things are for sure out of this world

Here's another one streaking upward in the sky.

Yeah, I can't say exactly what they are, but they are in nearly every set of images and that one seemingly establishes some sort of movement (not sure what caused the streak on that one and not the others). If I had to guess I'd say dust particles flying about.

Cool, how did discern it was hovering and not falling?

From a still photo you have concluded it was flying and hovering, how? Are there other stills a second or so later with the object in the same position or slightly moved?

I everyone sorry about butting in I do not know if this is right if not except my apologies .
The photo of the ufo or speck of dust resembles something that is on mars take a good look try some reading glasses if you are long sighted it stands out better it could be rocks but I have other stuff that might change your minds. I am not saying it is a ufo its what you make of it but take a good look around the edge's it looks something similarly to the objects that you are discussing .
