My first three cars;

The very fun Wolseley 1300

The somewhat more luxurious Triumph 2000

And the insanely fast but terribly dangerous in the wet Mitsubishi Cordia

I never thought I would hear the name Vauxhall Viva. My mother had one back when we were going to highschool. I probably went in it 5 times in my life, the thing was horrid. Interesting people like them now.

Cool photos you posted, although i'm into muscle American cars, my sisters boyfriend restores the types of cars you have posted and puts them in events.

Nice pics OP

Nice roller skates, for the most part. Let's get some Detroit Iron in there: Actual colors I had, too.

Lost control in reverse, hit a tree, which caught between the bumper and the trunk. Stuck it in first and the tree ripped out of the ground. Oops. Sorry. 1948 Chevrolet Fleetline: $35.00

"Family car," right? Screw the ads. 312 cubic inch 4-bbl Holly. It laid patches 250 feet long. 1957 Ford Fairlane 500: $195.00

Now we're talkin'! 406 cubic inches, 405 BHP w/ tri-power (3-2bbl carbs) and a 411 rear end. It could do wheelies just by stepping on the gas. 1962 Ford Galaxie 500XL. $995.

They all got 10 MPG, but gas was 35 cents a gallon so nobody cared. Now I drive an Acura sedan: sedate, funless, but reliable.
