Vampire Moths and Butterflies? Yes, it's true. Oh my...

After some random time surfing the internet, I found this...

The vampire moth



and the vampire butterfly (well, it only sucks up the blood off dead bodies.....for the moment ).. called the madrilenial butterfly

I never knew about these until now. Both have somewhat recently been discovered, so there's not too much out there about them yet.

Then comes the bloodsucking bunny rabbits and brain eating hummingbirds. It's only a matter of time.

Oh great. Not just animals or insects anymore....now we gotta worry about vampire plants.

Hypothetical question now that we're dealing with plants also - If the garlic plant turns vampire through evolution or something in the future, would that mean it would defeat itself?

I did nog want to mention.... Zombies but...

Attack of the killer zombie butterflies.

Luckily they only prey on the death for now but what about rabies?

Over thirty per cent of butterflies will feed on carrion. Most people look at butterflies as delicate, when they are all quite violent. The males fight constantly. If you see a complete one it is only around a day old. After that the wings are normally shreded from combat.

I did already know about vampire moths. I searched it because I thought it made sense.

I did know about the carrion. I did not know about the fighting, thanks for sharing.

People like to put things into "good" and "evil". Good and evil, since the beginning of man.
