NSA Officers Sometimes Spy on Love Interests

Back in the J. Edgar Hoover days, he was famous for having a file on everybody; every President, Congresscritter, Hollywood star and CEO of business... and of course used them for leverage, if not outright blackmail.

I think it was Truman who passed along the file HE had on J. Edgar (about his gay lover and penchant for wearing lady's dresses) to Eisenhower, saying he pitied any President who didn't have the goods on Hoover...

Which brings up the worry I've had most of my life; what if our Presidents and other so-called 'leaders' are being blackmailed from the git-go by persons unknown? It sure would explain a lot...
