Agreed, but Tarus is not as important to Russia as you may think www.gloria-center.org...
One also needs to consider the military relationship between Syria and Russia, something that is too often overlooked:
The treaty of amity and cooperation, containing 15 articles and signed between Syria and Russia on October 8,1980 just after Camp David Treaty that has been signed on March 26, 1979 is the highest level document which has been signed between Russia and Syria. According to the article 5 of said treaty the parties shall promptly contact each other.in case the peace and security of one of the parties has been threatened for the purpose of eliminating that threat and re-establish the peace. that treaty was a guarantee treaty for Syria. According to the secret protocol of the treaty Russia guaranteed to help Syria with all its power in case of an attack

I find that funny too....Russia is hardly our friend but it is always America that is lying.
I guess it is just too hard to accept that the world in general is a messed up place and people die needlessly by terrible means every day.
A large part of this current outcry has to do with the many dead women and children, who i hope we can agree should be left out of all such conflicts as much as possible.
A government lying to the citizens in a democracy is a crime against the very fabric of democracy.
When you understand this you will understand what you need to do.
The US Govt are terrorists who use terror against entire free nations.
Country after country destroyed and you still want to support the terrorists.
Way to do .... Not!

It was taken down, like news stories occasionally are, because it was proven to be false. Probably because they chose to use Infowars as the source of their information. Hoaxes perpetuated in the real news tend to make all news look bad.
Instead of a retracted article from Daily Mail, or a piece in Yahoo News India, or Infowars why not post a link or even a picture of the actual emails to prove it?

And to fool American citizens into compromising there own constitution,in support of a national enemy, into breaking international law ,for the overthrow of a sovereign government.
We were hacked on last Wednesday, Thursday from our e-mails hosted on a public commercial webhosting domain. Some of the material online is accurate, but unfortunately the hacker went on upon himself to create a number – we’ve seen three now – of completely spurious e-mails – normally two-liners, very inflammatory, talking about chemical weapons, Syria, Qatar, Saudi, Washington – very simplistic in their format, because I can’t imagine in what sort of world would have two-liners with such a combination of words, leading to an obvious conclusion, “God, what on Earth is this all about?” So, they were completely spurious and our company isn’t involved in the defense world at all. We do commercial risk management for oil and gas companies in areas around the world. I can confirm those e-mails are completely spurious.
In particular, it quoted one email which had purportedly been sent by Mr Goulding to Mr Doughty, in which Mr Goulding outlined a proposal whereby Britam would supply chemical weapons and Ukrainian personnel to Homs - a city in western Syria - for use in the attack.
Mr Tudor said that, as Associated Newspapers accepted, the article would have been understood to suggest that Britam was willing - for enormous financial award - to consider taking part in a nefarious and illegal plot of the kind described, which would have led to the death, injury and maiming of countless innocent civilians.
In fact, he added, the emails in question were forgeries. They were not written or sent by the claimants - or by anyone at Britam or associated with them - and the illegal hacking of the company's website remained the subject of a criminal investigation. "The claimants had no involvement in any chemical weapons plot and would never contemplate becoming involved in the heinous activities which were the subject of the article."
Mr Tudor said that Associated Newspapers had agreed to pay substantial damages together with legal costs.
Its solicitor, Martin Wood, offered its sincere apologies for the damage and distress caused by the publication of the false allegations, which had appeared on US websites. It acknowledged that the emails in question were completely fabricated and there was no question of any of the claimants being involved - or even considering being involved - in the heinous actions to which the article referred.
"The defendant is pleased to set the record straight."
NVESTIGATORS suspect that Iran may be involved in an attempt to smear the West by hacking a British security company and faking a plot in which the firm was asked to deploy chemical weapons in Syria.
False emails created as part of the sophisticated cyberattack claimed the plot had been sanctioned by Washington and indicated a desire to frame Bashar al-Assad, the Syrian president.
If Assad used chemical weapons against his own people, it would potentially trigger military retaliation by America and Britain.
The hacking of Britam Defence, a company run by former SAS chiefs with many Middle Eastern clients, is being investigated by cybercrime and counterterrorism specialists at Scotland Yard. The security services are also believed to be studying the breach.
Those familiar with the hack say it bears similarities to a cyberattack last year on Saudi Arabia’s biggest oil company, which US intelligence officials have blamed on Iran.
In light of claims that forces loyal to President Bashar al-Assad carried out deadly chemical attacks on rebel-held areas outside Damascus on Wednesday, it is worth noting that journalists for the French newspaper Le Monde reported in May that they had witnessed repeated chemical attacks on rebel forces in that same region.
The journalists, who “spent two months clandestinely in the Damascus area alongside Syrian rebels,” first reported their findings in an article by Jean-Philippe Rémy accompanied by a gripping video report recorded during an attack.
Reporters from Le Monde witnessed this on several days in a row in this district, on the outskirts of Damascus, which the rebels entered in January. Since then, Jobar has become a key battleground for both the Free Syrian Army and the government. In two months spent reporting on the outskirts of the Syrian captial, we encountered similar cases across a much larger region. Their gravity, their increasing frequency and the tactic of using such arms shows that what is being released is not just tear gas, which is used on all fronts, but products of a different class that are far more toxic.
In the tangled web of the Jobar front, where enemy lines are so close that the fighters exchange insults as often as they kill each other, gas attacks occurred on a regular basis in April. The gas was not diffused over a broad swath of territory but used occasionally in specific locations by government forces to attack the areas of toughest fighting with the encroaching opposition rebels. This sector is the place where Free Syrian Army groups have penetrated most deeply into Damascus. A merciless war is being waged here.
