It pissed me off when they cast hugh jackman as wolverine. I mean WTF, wolverine is not some pretty boy, never was, wolverine is a short hairy almost
perpetually constantly pissed of canadian who lived for hundreads of years and weighs somewhere around over 300 pounds due to all the adamantium
metal in his body. I am still pissed of about that, which is why I will not watch the new wolverine movie unless somebody makes me. That or its free
and I am bored as hell. Wolverine origins was barely passable.
A more honest trailer of the movie.
But Ben Affleck as batman, I mean you could find better people who could play batman, just pick a random guy of the street. Personally I would prefer
Nicholas Cage over this guy. At least that way it would be so bad it would be good, now its only going to be bad, and very sad.
I suppose one good thing can come of this, the guy who makes those honest trailers on his youtube account will have more fuel to add to the fire.
...a petition has been filed in the “We the People” section of the White House website petitioning the Obama administration to “denounce the
selection of Ben Affleck” and recast the role of Batman.
The creator of the petition from Westland, Michigan writes “there are more serious matters that need to be addressed in our country but
fans/citizens are outraged at the selection and we want to send a message to Warner Brothers, DC Comics, and Zack Snyder using an outlet that could
garner the appropriate media attention to do so.”
The petition needs at least 100,000 signatures by Sept. 13, 2013 for it to receive a response from the White House.
People care this much about a movie? Or are these the same people who cal 911 when McDonalds is out of chicken nuggets?
Dunno.....I think he's been good in his latest movies. He did a great job directing gone baby gone and was pretty cool in The Town & Argo IMO...he's
definitely somebody that's on the come up talent wise. When you compare his latest work to his earlier ones that's pretty obvious...I mean Gigly
We might as well be in for a surprise here, I mean whoever thought it was a good idea to cast Heath Ledger as the Joker originally? huh? anyone??
yeah? If you're out there you need to speak louder cause I don't hear you lol
Ima keep an open mind with this one, with his latest acting he's been showing maturity so from that perspective I can understand why they choose him.
He might not reach Bale-Keaton Batman status but I bet for this movie he´ll be good enough. Plus, it's not a start of a new trilogy, this is
basically him going against Superman ...so I bet it's not going to contain a lot of Bruce Wayne (IE. acting scenes)
Nooo, Ben Affleck playing the role as Batman is like Justin Timberlake playing Robin and Will Smith being The Riddler...lets not turn Madonna into
Harley Quinn or Beyonce into Cat Woman...Travolta will not be Bane either...also make sure Justin Beiber never is Poison Ivy lol!
I'm still on the fence, his last few movies he was awesome. I rely liked him in Argo. As Batman? I don't know. Maybe he'll get his buddy Kevin
Smith to help Snyder/Goyer write this thing. Or get Kevin Smith on board to write the Justice League. DC needs a fanboy like him to be involved.
Kevin Smith did say once that Affleck can play anything. Remake JAWS? yeah..Affleck plays the shark
This could go either way. Batflecks acting skills have improved a lot over the last few years and he is a pretty good writer/director (2 Oscars).
Also to sign on this early could mean he's lending a hand with the writing and he is a comic book geek!!
He's also started training for the role and is around Batmans height at 6.2. He also looks a bit like Bruce/Bats in the Arkham games.
I'll hold off judgment till I've seen the costume and look of the Bats, till then I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
Well, like Batman and Robin, this is one Batman in the series I definitely will not be seeing. Not even for free.
When will these idiots in Hollywood realize that no one wants to see an overexposed, vanilla, People magazine cover boy play a superhero. Like it or
not, people have preconceived ideas of what makes a superhero believable (in a fantasy world kind of way), and Aflack doesn't have it.
Then again, I thought Mister Mom was a weird choice, so what do I know?
