Hey you guys I was wondering if there is any 'truth' to palm reading..I have had my palm read a few times over the years and they've been consistant, so seems that there is atleast some truth to it...

Have any of you had yours read? What was said about it...did it seem right on or way off with you?

After a few replies I'll go into a few things about my own readings..

hmm. who knows. your readings are probably consistent due to the fact that your palm stays mostly the same, and readers use the same system for reading palms =). I have been told that I would die of cancer and not to have a career in music. *shrugs*

But do you think there is ANY truth to what the lines say about your life? I know this is dealing with 'psychics' who charge money and all...and THAT I don't agree with, but some seem legit..atleast some of the things they've said seem so..

I have had mine read once in awhile and it is entertainment only. Sometimes right, sometimes wrong.. but don't bet the farm on it.

for 1 or 2 €, but they are great psychologist and say what you want to here. You will find the person of your dreams, you will get marry and have many children...

I hope the hand palm lines are not true... I got a short life line...

I was always told I had a long one. I never really held that with much faith. Death will come when I give up. Otherwise, I will never die.

Not everything I was told was all positive..but most of what they read fit me to a "T"..and this was several years ago, when it didn't make a whole lot of sense..but today seems to be revealing itself-pretty neat actually...

I was walking through a flea market back home in Fla and there was a "gypsy" type looking woman standing asside and she grabbed my hand and started telling me stuff..pretty freaky experience..especially to the people I was with who "knew" me..I went to give her money after she was done, but she refused to take it..that gave me a little respect for those people

... and I know a little stuff about palm reading.

The left hand is the future hand, the right is the past and present one.

They always prefer to read the left hand because it's the spiritual hand and the right hand is the material one (If you write with the right hand...)

The way I see it is that Palm Reading...like most prediction/fore-seeing abilities...merely lets you know what is likely to be in store for you if you continue walking the path you are on.

At any time you can step off that path on to a new one...if you wish to strong enough...

Not everything is written in stone...ultimately we are faced with choice...the choices we make hold just as much (if not more) power as whatever fate/destiny/whatever has in mind...

...Palm Readers are just that...Readers...they aren't writers...

I am not discounting the influence of fate/destiny/whatever...for that has played a BIG part in my own life...but so too has choice...

Yes, I agree with you.

Ultimately we make our own choices in life..I know I make my own path or decide for myself what is right or wrong.
But don't you think sometimes we may need a push in the right direction..or someone to 'show' or guide us where we need to be? What is wrong with a stranger who can see something we maybe cannot yet?
I know without a doubt that there are 'psychics' who CAN see what we may not be able to see thus far...
I'm not saying I would take their word as law and 'go where they told me to' but it can sometimes add something perhaps we already knew within but were afraid to 'jump on'..

With that said..(just so you know)..I've never done anything a psychic told me to do or told me would be in my better interest to do..but here I am today perhaps taken a different path then I should have a few times-but still ended up here, where I feel I needed to be..now would that be considered fate? Or choice? Or a mixture of the two?

Now back to the topic..do you think the lines on our hands tell about our lives, or past or future? Are they significant at all? Or just lines and nothing more?
