Louisiana Sinkhole Video: Trees Disappear

The caught-on-camera moment with trees being devoured by a sinkhole, was captured in Assumption Parish, La., and posted online by assumptionla.

And while we're very happy to witness this rare phenomenon, our first reaction if we were in the same situation as the cameraman who shot this? Run for your life!

This is by far the most interesting video from the sinkhole I have seen. These trees completely sink and disappear under the water in a matter of seconds, just incredible. Scientists are now saying it could take years for the sinkhole to reach maximum size. This video was taken yesterday so as we can see it's still actively growing.

Awesome and yet eerie.....people must be on standby with a camera on hand waiting for the latest unknown to happen.
Wouldn't want to stand to close to the action however....
