So....Star Trek FREAKING "Renegades"......!!!

Our beloved Tuvok (Tim Russ), after having a huge hand directing a private Star Trek movie many trek fans have not yet seen called "Star Trek: Of Gods and men", is going to wow us again with another new project called "Star Trek Renegades", which is a fan made movie set 10 years after the return of voyager.

"Of gods and Men", was a stand alone "fan made" movie which was set shortly after the events of "Star Trek Generations", a few years after the events in the past following Kirks loss on the enterprise B to the Nexus. This fan made movie is filled with MANY familiar faces to the Trek world.

"OG&M" simply kicked ass with plentiful space battles, answered questions to some TOS issues, as well as gave a glimpse of the possibilities for "what could have been" had the TMP era series been made and continued with a new captain(sulu?) in the void of time between the last original cast movie and the TNG series. It was great and all but was a "little" dinky in certain production aspects, but over all was simply epic. I do mean a little, dont get me wrong it was SOO worth the free watch. PLEASE WATCH IT...for your own good.

SO this isnt about "Of Gods and Men". This thread is about "Renegades". This piece is another fan made production but THIS piece however is designed to be a pilot for a series should ANY studio with ANY sense pick it up and run with it. It is going to be set in the normal cannon universe like "Gods and men" was, just in the future following where "DS9" and "Voyager" left off. So NORMAL UNIVERSE!!! which should make you screech with joy if you arent a big fan of the little number JJ did to the Trek world....ahem! ...blasphemous heathen....J/K

There really is allot to say about this venture and really all of it is good.

It is going to be a little darker and a little more edgy like DS9 was, and is going to be freaking orgasmic to the inner nerd in us all. Follow this, support it, and do your part like many Trek fans before you to get us yet another great show for our kids generation, as was done for us.

The characters will include many familiar faces like the "OG&M" movie had, but will also introduce some new ones into the mix.

here is the first part of an interview with Tim Russ about it.

I think this project still needs some help with production and other stuff, so if you can offer any help please contact them and let them know if you are available. Heck if the show is picked up maybe you can get a job working on a Trek show....I know right!.. well at the very least you can know you helped the trek world along in your own way.

Peace and long life! Live long and prosper ATS.....

EDIT:
I thought I would add some more tit bits.

Tim Russ (Tuvok in Voyager) has signed on to direct Renegades.

The role of Captain Lexxa Singh will be played by Adrienne Wilkinson (Xena: Warrior Princess, Star Wars: The Clone Wars).

The Renegades' antagonist in the film, Borrada, will be played by Trek veteran J.G. Hertzler (Martok, DS9; Koval, Of Gods and Men)

Also currently in the cast are Walter Koenig (Chekov, Original Series), Tim Russ, Gary Graham (Alien Nation; Soval, Enterprise), Garrett Wang (Harry Kim, Voyager), Robert Picardo (the holodoctor, Voyager), Ethan Phillips (Neelix, Voyager), Manu Intiraymi (Icheb, Voyager), Richard Herd (Admiral Paris, Voyager), Edward Furlong (Terminator 2: Judgement Day), Larissa Gomes (Saw VI, Saw 3D), actress/stunt performer Tarah Paige (Make It or Break It, Rise of the Planet of the Apes), Courtney Peldon (Entourage, Home Improvement), Corin Nemec (Stargate Sg-1), Monica Keena (Dawson's Creek) and Vic Mignogna (Star Trek Continues, Dragonball Z).

Walter Koenig - Executive Consultant (chekov)
good hands we can trust.

Scott Nakada – Art Direction
....Nakada Lcars....now we are talking...you know this will be true to true Trek fans...

John Eaves – Art Direction
This guy basically designed the sovereign class and has been around for some time. Another classic from the "home team"....or A team.

EDIT:
I thought I would throw this in here as well so those who havent seen some of the better fan made episodes can get a glimpse of another great project "Star Trek continues". The captain here (Vic Mignogna) will be in "Renegades".

AW sweet! thanks for this! I can't wait to sit back and watch this!! perfect for one of those boring Saturday afternoons where everybody seems to have disappeared and you get that annoying old buzzing rotary plane off in the distances and because its so quiet around the house you can hear it......
You know, I kind of have this distinct feeling you LOOK like Bill Murray in real life tadaman..................

Thank you for the movie link. Even though it had the lighting and acting of a high budget porno, it was good enough.

Seen every Star Trek show many times over...this was very nice.

Im Star trek fan

cant say m really into Fan made stuff but appreciate they have put in huge effort.

Im not really impressed by second instalment in reborn star trek franchise. The wonder and mystery have been extracted out and now its action space flick.
