It's not paranoia. People are trying to kill you. Well, maybe not you, personally, but they want to kill everyone, or at least everyone who believes
the same things you do.
Worse than that, however, are the people who aren't actively trying to kill you, but they're not doing a whole lot to keep you from being killed.
Carmakers who put cheap, malfunctioning airbags in your car. Food inspectors who look the other way. Manufacturers who don't want to go the extra
step to eliminate the poisons in your immediate environment. Governments who see you (and have always seen you) as merely cannon fodder. Crazy
people who want to shoot into crowds to see what happens. And so on.
The deck is stacked against you. Even if nobody actively kills you right now and you live to be old, chances are pretty good you'll develop
complications after surgery (3rd leading cause of death after cancer and heart disease), or screw up your medications in the old folk's home.
No worries, though. Once you're dead the pressure's off.
