Robert Anton Wilson is really the best.
Vankin and Whalen's "# Greatest Conspiracy Theories" series is pretty good.
David Yallop's studies into the P2/Vatican Bank Conspiracy.
Neal Wilgus' "Illuminoids" is one of the books that started it all.
Baigent, Lincoln and Leigh's books are good fun.

I'd put Alex Jones and David Icke into the money sucking/attention seeking huckster category.
Marrs has some interesting writings, but he always takes things from the realm of logically plausible into the realm of absurdity. Wish he knew when to quit. His research, while obviously large in quantity, is a bit shoddy at times and his penchant for asserting things that are factually easy to debunk makes him questionable (but still worth a read).

Richard Hoaglund
Jim Marrs
Bill Cooper

Don't really know many others, so thanks for your list.

I would like to put Alex jones down, but recently I've had doubts about him.

I think Stanton Freidman belongs on the list. Albeit he does make a living from it.

I would like to add Bud Hopkins.

What?

Anyway. I just read a book on the p2 conspiracy and it was awesome.

Mafia and the cia infiltrating the vatican banks to stave off communism(capitalism/wallstreet unfriendly) in favor of fascism(capitalism/wallstreet friendly). One phase in the Operation Gladio chronicles in italy.
The mafia blackmailing the pope with naked pictured of him was a surprise. They have a lot of pull.

The one of the suspected boston bombers was a CIA asset working in one of their workshops. Maybe to be used as a Operation Gladio double agent in Chechnya to be used as a destabilizing force against the russians but got double crossed here. Fall guy he was.

Phil Schneider is very interesting. Something about him rings of sincerity. The circumstances surrounding his death are very curious, esp considering it happened so soon after he began his tell-all "tour".
I typically throw complex alien/government conspiracies in to the hoax bin, but this one sticks in my craw too much to throw it away completely. Something's there. Not sure what or how much.

Cooper was a little out there I think, But Schneider always seemed sincere and actually worked in some interesting places.

I'm afraid you people are leaving out the best one of all.

She's the leader of all the others. Or at least she's just as smart as the others.

From the point of view of sheer, dogged and intelligently sifted research, Jordan Maxwell and Joseph P Farrell would be right at the top of my list; I would probably put Maxwell at #1 because he did more than any single other individual, I think, to put Icke where he is and, further, Icke uses a lot of his material; and his work was the basis of Zeitgeist.

Most of the other names have already been covered - however I'm surprised to see a lack of mention for Manly Palmer Hall. He'd make my top 3, without question.

Manly Palmer Hall's most famous/celebrated work is titled The Secret Teachings of All Ages, which he wrote when he was only 27 (in 1928). He writes about the old Mystery Religions, Alchemy, Tarot, Masonry, Rosicrucianism, etc. Some of the "conspiracy" topics we wrote about included that William Shakespeare was a front for Francis Bacon, and that the illuminati/freemasons were behind the french and american revolutions. (Neither of those theories are exclusive to Hall, but he does offer unique insight).

The amount of information he almost a century ago, is still one of the best collections of research I've found in any single volume. Can't recommend his work enough.
