Do You use a smartphone? I assume you use a cell phone considering you specifically said "android" phone. IMO android phones are the best phone OS.
Everything is opensource so there are MANY anti-servalance tools available And I surely hope you don't mean to imply Apple phones are any better in
terms of privacy
I know right, they see "google" is attached to it and start freaking out, because you know, everyone on ATS is that important that they have a
dedicated team of NSA analysts monitoring them in real time. No joke, some people here honestly believe that crap.
Android? cyanogen mod, most of your worries disappear overnight.
Beyond that, none of the services mentioned require your ACTUAL INFORMATION. I mean, do people actually use their real names and addresses on this
stuff? Do people actually log into google at all times? It's kind of funny really, most of this stuff is only a concern if you are an idiot.
Apple is no better than google, in fact, a little worse as google is at least transparent about what they do, apple is less than transparent about it.
No one can examine apples code, google android is open source so the whole damn internet is peeping that code.
besides, just having a phone means you are tracked, even if it's in "sleep mode" and not a "smart phone" it's connected to a network and
monitored, and linked to the name / cc details of whomever purchased it.
And I also have to wonder, with the deep deep paranoia being expressed, what exactly are some of you people doing online? i mean seriously. What
idiot thought their web hosted free email was secure?
Free services aren't free, someones paying something, remember that. In the case of email / social networks, it's your information and habits they
want, to sell to PR firms to help market whatever crap they are hawking.
