It's time to remove congress. All of them. At the same time.

If you start with a cage containing five monkeys and inside the cage, hang a banana on a string from the top and then you place a set of stairs under the banana, before long a monkey will go to the stairs and climb toward he banana.

As soon as he touches the stairs, you spray all the other monkeys with cold water.

After a while another monkey makes an attempt with same result ... all the other monkeys are sprayed with cold water. Pretty soon when another monkey tries to climb the stairs, the other four monkeys will try to prevent it.

Now, put the cold water away. Remove one monkey from the cage and replace it with a new one.

The new monkey sees the banana and attempts to climb the stairs. To his shock, all of the other monkeys beat the crap out of him. After another attempt and attack, he knows that if he tries to climb the stairs he will be assaulted.

Next, remove another of the original five monkeys, replacing it with a new one.

The newcomer goes to the stairs and is attacked. The previous newcomer takes part in the punishment...... with enthusiasm, because he is now part of the "team".

Then, replace a third original monkey with a new one, followed by the fourth, then the fifth. Every time the newest monkey takes to the stairs, he is attacked.

Now, the monkeys that are beating him up have no idea why they were not permitted to climb the stairs. Neither do they know why they are participating in the beating of the newest monkey.

Finally, having replaced all of the original monkeys, none of the remaining monkeys will have ever been sprayed with cold water. Nevertheless, not one of the monkeys will try to climb the stairway for the banana.

Why, you ask? Because in their minds...that is the way it has always been!

This, my friends, is how Congress operates... and this is why, from time to time: All of the monkeys need to be replaced at the same time.




On a side note Obama may sign the UN gun treaty while congress is on vacation, my guess is Harry Reid is not going to present it to the senate for a debate. Thus making it effective in about 90 days. If you are not aware, angry, or at this point stocking up on everything extra you can get your hands on, I firmly believe you will be meeting your maker. After much suffering. Enjoy the story fellas.

Just not sure why we're insulting monkeys by comparing them to politicians.

Career Politicians (all of them are now) Are the cancer that destroys America.

Kill Lobbying, and you cut off their food source, might get rid of the cockroaches.

Just vote against the incumbents, all the time, and you'll end it. Down side is, you throw the baby out with the bathwater (i.e. the handful of good ones).

Campaign finance and lobbying are really the bigger culprits.

I can pretty much sum up what my generation needs to realize to kick these monkeys out.




learn the law, practice law and change the laws and make sure any corruption is met with harsh punishment in the public eye, such as lynchings, the numerous ways to sever the head or just tossing them with an anchor around their neck into the great lakes.

Infiltrate, Destroy and rebuild in a constructive manner which uplifts society and doesn't punish society into self-destruction.

I've been saying this for years. Well...not the monkey thing, but it definitely applies. And the only option for us at this point is revolution. The Tree of Liberty needs some watering again. The problem being is America was neutered like...100 years ago.

Removing congress and replacing it is not enough. Even if you remove congress, there are still the lobbyists and the handlers, they also have to be removed. Then, even if you remove and/or replace the aforementioned groups, there are still the international bankers, multi-nationals and the money power, they also have to be removed and/or replaced. Finally, the support system for these criminal assclowns is so large with so many tentacles, the removals and/or replacements of all three aforementioned groups would have to occur in every country and/or colony at the same time globally, think about the logistics of that!

Leaving any of the cancer to its own devices, simply breeds new cancers.

Sorry OP, but Garzok is 100% correct.

We could remove all the politicians, but the fact is lobbyists and financial backers are the main reason the government runs the way it does.

We live in a material world, and the tool is money. Those who control the money control the world. And the little monkeys will go to work everyday because they can't see the whole picture.

We are the monkeys, except we don't know when to stop, and see that we are the ones responsible for everything going on around us.

We could remove all those too, the money guys, without doing a thing. That would be the easy part. The hard part would be removing all the people holding office because they can order the military to stop us. We have to fight ourselves before we can get rid of the men behind the curtain.

Since we're still the US with our still rather ridiculous military what are they going to do? Are the Rothschilds going to talk Britain into invading over kicking out their central bank? Them and whose army? The rest of the world aren't idiots. They see what's going on inside the US and I can't really imagine say...Australia loading up their Navy and making sail for war against us for kicking out our corrupt government.

The US has the resources for each state to take care of it's own while we restructure the basics. Yeah, people would have to get off their asses and maybe not get that 2nd iPad this year. I know it's painful. People are such reactionary, fearful herd animals. Take away television and it will be like Lord of the Flies. We won't be able to make this happen because of ourselves. Our voice as a US citizen has been taken away. When they made corporations "people" that was the cliff, that the US we know will go over. Congress can legally insider trade, corporations lobby and give insider trading information to their paid lackey to push the legislation the corporate "citizen" wants. It's a sponsorship... at the same time, the money they use to buy off the politicians to push their agenda come out of our pockets. Yes, they have us financing our own take over. When you buy a Domino's pizza, you are filling their pro-life lobby coffers. Same thing when you buy ChicFila you're helping them lobby against gay rights... the average citizen thinks I'm just buying pizza or a chicken sandwich.

That's how screwed up the system is, and why there needs to be a good informational resource for what corporations are lobbying for, so we can black list them and not buy their goods especially if it harms American citizens and our rights. That's the only way anything we say gets listened to anymore, hurting their bottom lines. Protests don't do it, they raise awareness, but it doesn't stop the machine. Citizens are unknowingly backing 100's of lobby efforts that hurt us. Think of the billions of dollars Facebook makes from selling millions of peoples information what are it's lobby coffers being filled to try and legislate on us? Think it's odd that you don't know? What about the other products you buy? Try to find out what you're unknowingly supporting and you might become very sick to your stomach.

That's the whole problem in a nutshell, banning insider trading, stopping lobbies and taking away corporations person hood status making those illegal, is going to be the only way out of this for profit nightmare. Problem is Congress has to pass that legislation.... really think they want to halt that? This process has no benefit for the real American people in it's agenda. The agenda is to bleed workers dry, without them even being aware of it, and in the process make all those on the inside richer. All the party line nonsense is a distraction to keep citizens divided and arguing among themselves.

The only reason there are any arguments in Washington over legislation at all, is from different corporate sponsors that have lobbied for conflicting legislation. Politician A got paid by X and politician B got paid by Y. The truth is they don't care about the legislation's impact they are pushing for, they just know if they fail to pass the legislation of their corporate sponsor, the gravy train stops. Fail enough getting that legislation passed and you'e tossed out of the game. It has been made so expensive to even run for office, that it insures the game stays exclusive and rigged. In order to even get into office in the first place; you'd have to already be in a corporations pocket nowadays. Pretty sick but that's where it stands.

The moral arguments and everything else, that divides the US is a sham folks, it's a system of divide and conquer... watch the left hand as I pop you with the right, Democrat and Republican just two fake teams for people to root for, they inflame both sides with slanted main stream media with the same corporate sponsors, and divide the country into a US and THEM scenario, so we can't stop arguing among ourselves long enough to come together and say wait a minute... the whole political system has been twisted by legislation into a scam. and demand it's immediate overhaul.

Get local if you want your vote to count, national already is way out of our hands... to count or matter what we think. Corporate super pacs need to be shot down fast with local legislation... on the local level super pacs are very determined to make your local vote not count either... once they get a foot hold and take that vote over? Our entire Democratic process will be finished, lock, stock and barrel... then what power will actual living breathing people have? You got it NONE. You might be lucky enough to remember what freedom once was... but future generations will be a cradle to the grave slave, with mandated duties with very limited to no rights whatsoever.

We are in the 12th hour of this folks, it's not too late... but if we don't act while we still can... and soon, my estimate is we have at most 16 years; before we are in a entirely corporate owned and ran police state, do not let them privatize anything it's a mistake. Eventually we will have no constitutional rights. Mark my words, it is going there full steam ahead now... it would be a lot sooner... but corporate giants, of the world are fighting over who controls what, so that bides us a bit of time to act but not much.

The uber rich puppet masters want their ideal world, and they are doing everything in their power to see it to fruition. Steve Jobs was using his power to censor the internet, before he died he was not the great man they are trying to make that hack Kutcher present him as being. Like most programming It is just a 2 hour propaganda infomercial passed off as entertainment and nothing more.

There are lots of military personnel stationed overseas that would be in danger if the US did such a thing as the first paragraph above....oh and how do you plan on getting all of them back to the US and all the combat assets back as well?

The OP, while well intentioned, stems from ignorance. There are representatives out there fighting for our rights. Just look at the voting on the Amash amendment. True, not all of those that voted in favor of restricting NSA powers with the threat of de-funding are good examples of politicians with a conscious, but theres are a handful at least that have been fighting for YEARS to expose what the Govt is doing. Names like Wyden, Amash, Paul, Grayson, Holt, Gosar are but a few names you need to know and review in terms of their positions. And there ARE others!

It's true that there are many who are lost in a fantasy world or have been bought by corporations but throwing out the baby with the bathwater will not yield a better government. The problem is us, the population who arent well informed (Like the OP), and either dont vote, or vote without all the information. Our system is flawed, but right now we the people are the achilles heel.
