Beijing Rock Villa on High-Rise Roof to be Demolished...Wow .

You have to admire his vision and effort but this is absolute madness .
A Chinese medicine mogul spent six years creating this idyllic mountain retreat atop a high rise apartment complex , as you would expect he's now been ordered to take it down .... easier said than done I would expect .

The owner and constructor, Zhang Biqing, says that the fake mountain was made of light materials including plastic and resin but admitted he had not obtained planning permission for a small sunroom. Speaking to the Newshour programme on BBC World Service radio, he said: "It's not like the whole building is illegal."

I Like it really a bit of natuarl look! Some have swimming pools now water is way heavy. Hope they built it well.

As far as fake hills go I think it is pretty good and probably adds something (other than weight) to an otherwise dreary looking building , but talk about a disrespect for your neighbors safety and feelings
