Blue Grass Airport Employee Charged With Sexual Abuse Resigns

A Lexington Blue Grass Airport TSA manager charged with sexually abusing a female employee has resigned.

According to court documents, the victim told police Shane A. Hinkle, 38, touched her breasts and put his hand down her pants twice on two separate occasions, the first on July 31 and the second time on Aug. 4. The citation indicates the incidents both happened at the airport, and the acts on Aug. 4 were recorded on video.

This will help show that some TSA people are actually deviants, and will help establish a precedent for future situations. The people are going to take this kind of abuse no longer, whether it's "job related' or passenger related. This should help establish the humanity side of the TSA as a human entity, capable of misbehaving. . .not the all powerful drone of the Bush era robots.

Sounds like standard operating procedures for the TSA. He should probably be paid overtime for that work.

Now where is the harassment? He was simply training her in the finer points of TSA search method for women and children. They do it in public for an audience to watch many times a day at a theate....errr.. airport near everyone!

I haven't read the article, but there are no serious repercussions other than losing his job by "resigning" as opposed to being fired?

I suppose this will set a precedent for the future if he is not charged with any crime. In fact, like police, I won't be surprised if this person gets another TSA job at a different airport, just like a police officer under investigation for abuse/manslaughter will be under a paid leave, then resign, then get a job at the next nearby police precinct and it's business as usual.
