Final word... Absence of evidence is NOT evidence of absence. Like you, I rely on the interwebs for research. Much of the information on the interwebs is inaccurate. My research showed that the quote was attributed to Tocqueville and my reading of Tocqueville offered a direct link to Franklin. It was neither unreasonable or an intent to defraud that led to my assertions.

You assert at there is no proof the quote is attributed to Franklin. I assert that there is no evidence to prove that the quote is NOT attributable to Franklin. Stalemate!

The chart I posted is how ideologies actually are, I find liberals to be quite center, progressives to be slightly left and above of center, conservatives to be slightly right and above of center, libertarians to be below center both left and right.

However the political narrative in this country keeps moving the vertical line right. I'm so stubborn about this topic because I don't think it's proper to do that. Truth above all else otherwise how can you possibly know what you're dealing with. What we're really dealing with, with government is traitors to every ideology that elects them... their bosses aren't us, but their corporate masters, we're just the morons betting on the ponies thinking everything will be alright if only my pony wins.

I know what that is I've taken the quiz before, I'm pretty far down left. I disagree that most people aren't center, I think most are or slightly left or slightly right... however people vocal like us ATS'rs or other forums tend to be more extreme either way.

Plus I do not support the current welfare system. It needs to be replaced and shaken up and trimmed down both in USA and UK. But before that or dureing that that millions of private sector jobs need creating. Unless disabled no one should be relying on help more than a month. If people are gennraling out of work and cant find anything what so ever or 400 people are apllying for 1 bugger flipping job then there is a MAJOR problem somewere and the genuine job seekers should not be punnished for that.

Forcing people to buy corporate products or subsidizing people small or no incomes so that people can buy corporate products is the work of the corporations themselves encouraging policies that favor them, fighting to not have to pay employees fair wages etc. Fascism is Corporate control of government. 1. Friends,Family,or Food Shelters.

2. Too bad jobs, even peanut jobs, are scarce and difficult. Not to mention the cost of eating goes up when you have no place to prepare your own meals.

That fair wage being employers paying SS contributions,unemployment insurance, workmans comp insurance, for every employee they have PLUS all the other expense's it takes to run a business all so someone can fill out an application to push a broom, get their holiday pay, triple time, and their 4 weeks of paid vacation (paid for doing nothing) of course multiplied by how many employees they have.

Corporations were truly fascist they would not be getting half of that stuff.

The government created fiat currency, the government created social engineering programs that are nothing, but CORPORATE WELFARE.

I do not buy that there are any number of places willing to help out.

But no one seems to care all most people want to do is make emotional argument's to justify government fascism.

I'm sorry but when it comes down right to it I have my own problems to be worried about someone else.

I don't find it ironic that this is posted on liberals united. What I do find ironic is the fact that they don't offer any evidence to substantiate that this was actually done by the tea-party, or any member thereof.

Oregon is a liberal state controlled by liberals. Portland is a liberal city controlled by liberals. I should know I lived there for several years. Any one who had access to this information worked for a liberal agency! I seriously doubt that any government agency would hire anyone from the tea party. And with this whole NSA 's unconstitutional seizure of the American's private information they would most certainly know if you were a tea party member or not.

Furthermore with all of this liberal tracking of information via cellphone, video and satellite's etc. They most certainly must have some video evidence of who posted this flyer. I would be willing to bet that it wasn't a tea party member that done this. With the amount of money that we the tax payers pay the NSA they should come forth and identify the culprit.

I find it interesting that in all three of these news stories the tea party is not mentioned 1 time. The only time the tea party has been mentioned was by the liberal blogger that you posted.

With the popularity of this current administration with all of their scandals and unconstitutional activity even the smart dems are jumping ship. The only way to take the focus off of themselves is to create more hate. I would be more inclined to believe that this flyer was posted by a liberal! After all they have shown time and time again that truth doesn't matter only winning matters.

In a time when everyone realizes that the whole country is going to hell in a hand basket, all the liberals can do is deflect.

I can't count the number of threads that I have seen lately attacking the right with no bases of fact.
