Found a couple of reality TV shows that seem pretty interesting. I watched part of the BG show it's not bad. Didn't exactly wow me though. I mean you get a bunch of city slicker types put into the woods trying to do all this stuff that BG does. And you have to give them credit as it's pretty challenging stuff. I'd be hard pressed to do much of it. But seemed more like an exercise in suffering than anything, which made it kinda boring. Where as I remember when I use to watch some of the Man vs Wild shows, I liked those as they were exciting and a bit of a adventure thrill ride.

Anyway what do you think of these? And do you know of any others new shows to do with survival that might be worth watching?

Bear is kinda like the Last Boy Scout...I Mean Grabbing hold of some Dung and squeezing out the juices is just a stunt too far... If i'm ever that thirsty i would rather just Die and i'm sure if you find dung there will be a water source close by, He does make interesting TV though.

1st off :
the show Siberia is a complete Fake & Joke.
Its all models & actors.
Not 1 bit real.
quick search will set you straight on that 1.
So unless your watching for T&A mixed with bad acting...
its a total waste of time

Bear Grills = Money Maker thru endorsement.
I would call him High Risk Adventure Survival[ his original series]

I watched the 1st epi of his new series.
1 of the challenges was to bring some kind of animal Urine to a boil.
Then they had to cool it down to a certain temperature.
Once that temp was reached, one of the team members had to drink all the warm animal piss

The 1st team to complete this earned immunity from elimination

that episode ended with ever1 having to eat a large raw fish eyeball

So it seems less like Survival techniques & more like the show fear factor
Re-titled being filmed out in the wilderness with a new host....

There have only ever been three good survival shows.
Les Stroud “Survivor Man". He did everything solo and filmed himself.
Out of the Wild: The Alaska Experiment. Truly working it out on their own.
Naked and Afraid: I just freaking love this one. Watching every episode was a treat and a unique insight into what it takes to get by with little to nothing. Most folks in a true survival situation are gonna die with-in 22 to 45 days.....

I could easily last longer than 45 days. It wouldn't be easy but say if I was lost in the woods? I think I'd be fine.

Siberia, totally.

Yea it is fake, but so are most reality shows. At least this one has an interesting concept to it.
