I thought the map summed it up quite nicely, didn't you? There really are no red states/blue states. Secession won't help much if the people you're trying to avoid are living right next door.

No, it's to make sure that neither the cities or the rural areas exercise total control over the nation, and that the more larger states alwyas maintain control over the smaller ones. And before you say it, 51% of the vote is not total control

It’s a device to keep the unwashed masses from having a fair shake. The power Elite have always know that minorities congregate to large urban areas and thus they must remove the voting power from them.
