Lavabit, email service used by Snowden, shuts down

Has anyone noticed since the good old U.S.A got its self a Muslem leader, it has changed from the land of the free to the land of do as i say or be distroyed. There is no freedom only the freedom of doing what I say or else the IRS will come after you. How long before we all have to shout "obama is great"

Probably a gag order..they have been socking service providers with them ...I know..since..get this...the early 1990s.

The courts havebeen complicit in covering up broad surveillance of the public. ISP management and network admins...someone who has been involved needs to talk. Some are getting alot older....

I was born in London, and im no christian.

You may well end up having to shout "Sieg" to your leaders. I believe it is because all Americans think that at least half of their landsmen are drooling idiots. They also believe that the other half, to which they invariably belong themselves, are all saints. If you don't believe me, ask any American at any time. In fact, there are even worse cases: some fractions of the population are sure that 98 percent of their landsmen are drooling idiots (but they themselves are saints, of course).

Now, if you are part of a people that are sure that at least 50 percent of them are drooling idiots, what would you do when given power? You'd limit the freedoms of these idiots, of course, all for their benefit. This is exactly what the American administrations seem to do. It has nothing to do with the religion of the president. It has everything to do with the way American society is split up into two pools, always competing, never cooperating and always suspicious of at least half of the population. And to make things worse: in the eyes of many Americans all other people are even of worse, as they, not beloning to 'the land of the free' must consist for at least 60 percent of drooling idiots.

Given the general view on the world an on their own landsmen, no wonder Americans spent kazillions on intelligence. You'd be much better of spending that amount on healthcare, care for the elderly, education and creating jobs for those now unemployed, but hell no. Not in America.

THAT is the moral of the story. As Lavabit demonstrates courage and respect for constitutional privileges, the other companies continue to do the government's dirty work.

Yet so many people are completely in denial about the government's motives and methods. It really is depressing how deeply in denial the american people are.

Started from August 2012, Colo4 LLC started to raise the monthly bandwidth overage to over 1900+ GB without knowing the caused and continue to charge bandwidth overage to over $500 per month in usage and bandwidth overage and continue to charging us even though all the service within server had been shutdown.We had have requested for an investigate into the bandwidth usage but then had been ignored by Colo4 LLC. Instead, they are trying to convince us that their service have changed and force us to sign their yearly contracts. Product_Or_Service: Collocate Server Hosting Order_Number: XXXX-XXXXX Account_Number: ****** ****** Business Response Contact Name and Title: ************, VP Admin Contact Phone: XXXXXXXXXX Contact Email: *****@colo4.com Mr. ****** was responsible for monitoring his bandwidth usage and maintaining awareness of the applicable charges. The excess usage (overage) billed to Mr. ****** was confirmed; the applicable charges are valid. While Mr. ****** did not ask Colo4 to investigate the cause of the overage (only claiming that they were fraudulent), it was likely caused from being hacked and/or infected by a computer virus. Either of these could dramatically increase the data transmitted to/from (i.e.; usage on) a server. Colo4 was not responsible for protecting Mr. ******'s server from hackers and viruses. It is not known if Mr. ****** had installed and maintained any security software on his server.

So he got billed for the government hacking his email service. The bandwidth overage cost him more money so the government could look through everything. Billed for government spying. How crazy is that.

I agree that the US is no longer "the land of the free," but it's not because Obama is a Muslim.
It's true that when he was a child in Indonesia, as Barry Soetoro, he was registered as a Muslim.
It's also true that both his father, Barack Obama Sr, and his adoptive father, Lolo Soetoro, were Muslims.
But I have real doubts that Barry was raised as a Muslim.

He was only ten years old when he was dumped on his White grandparents in Hawaii. His White grandparents were socialists and probably atheists.

Obama's membership in Rev. Wright's Black Liberation Theology "church" was purely politics -- Chicago politics.

It's true that the IRS targeting of Tea Partiers is completely illegal and one of the most serious misuses of power from this Administration.

I also believe Obama is a natural dictator, but he's not another Castro (as some believe), Obama is a Batista.
Obama is all about Obama.

He is also a tool of the PTB. They choose him for his color. He has been able to get away with outrageous things because of his color. His color has also been very effective in dividing the country.

The PTB probably have so much $h*# on him, they can control him easily. He does what he is told.

What I'm really afraid of is that the PTB have a spectacular ending planned for Obama that will trigger civil war in this country.

There are always going to be disagreements & competing interests in ANY country. I'm sure you've witnessed this in your own country -- the Netherlands.

But what is happening in the US now is beyond the normal divisiveness of two-party politics. The US is being intentionally destroyed from within by a cabal that is pushing totalitarianism. We are being divided on purpose by race, by economic status, by any and all differences. Divide and conquer.

Pretty good info and input from lawyer types about what possibly has happened that he can't share with us, good reading.

i have two theories

1. people are afraid, in the occupy protests many people were arrested, beaten and peppered. agree or not these people tried to take a stand for what they believed in. Americans are losing faith in their justice system, they're afraid of getting fines or tickets that they cannot afford to pay. they feel powerless against a government that quite frankly, many of us are scared of because it has become that powerful

2. many Americans just don't take in information, or think critically anymore. i would wager 3/4 of people under 35 could care less about the massive spying situation, when i try to talk to people in my age group(20's) they just don't understand it and don't want to get into it at all

That was a spot on interpretation!!!!! I will have to dig up the telecommunications act ASAP and something in the interstate commerce act too.... I have a sneaky suspicion that its laid out plain as day someplace.... I think it's a travesty that nothing in this country is truly owned by the pseudo owner and it all ties into allodial land rights and tenural rights. I know most people will wonder how I got such a leap from data to land but if one looks at it from another perspective, it's all property...
