Not trying to pick on you or anything but read that bold section above carefully and ask yourself how credible such a statement is. It's like saying, "Well, I've never eaten human children before but I'm positive that it's the most delicious and healthy food there is."

But isn't that person then basically admitting to being a socialist or at least an altruist? The right is against socialism.
Objectivists are against altruism.


She believes the purpose of life is the pursuit of self-interests. That is epic selfishness. I think the opposite view is a belief in thinking about others before yourself. It makes sense though that super wealthy would admire her views... It probably helps them sleep at night to be able to say their epic greed is actually a virtuous philosophy of self interest.
