indeed.

look at the NDAA 2014

NDAA 2014 builds on the powers granted by both the Patriot Act and FISA by allowing unrestricted analysis and research of captured records pertaining to any organization or individual “now or once hostile to the United States”.

If this were Bush, people would be all over him about that. But since it's Obama, I guess we're just supposed to give him the benefit of the doubt.

Only thing I have left to give Obama is my contempt.

Yes We Can ! !

The president tells Leno, "The odds of dying in a terrorist attack are a lot lower than they are of dying in a car accident, unfortunately."

?????

so let me get this straight; we would be a lot more fortunate if the odds of dying
in a terrorist attack were less lower, the same as or higher than they are of dying in a car
accident????

me don't get it.

I don't believe a word that comes out of that mans mouth, I believe like someone mention on ATS, that the domestic spy program was put under fire with Snowden, so it came to light that we do spy on our own. So my guess is the administration decided lets tell everyone that we have intercepted a terrorist threat and close the embassies and tell everyone that is why we need the programs to spy on people and that it works. Well if this was so true why did they not do this in Benghazi when they were attacked and killed, were was the program operators then????? There had to been communications on what was going to happen. Who ignored it.

What are they trying to cover up.......I guess only time will tell.

It dont seem to matter what side of the pond we are on as its the same bullcr*p being fed to us. Easy to see how the saying "How can you tell when a politician is lying"? "check to see if the lips are moving" came about.
I swear they are getting worse by the day.

"The odds of dying in a terrorist attack are a lot lower than they are of dying in a car accident, unfortunately". Barrak Obama

Unfortunately? Freudian slip or what ? Just what the hell does that mean? If that is the case Mr. President, maybe we need to spend more money on highway safety and not the trumped up war on terrorism or the trumped up war on drugs?

Yeah they have, they've been giving us (British) tonnes of money to use our hardware in internal and external surveillance. The hardware we have is pretty awesome, I'm certainly not going to say on here how it works but its interesting, I'm told, to listen to conversations with suspected terrorists preaching about the evils of the West and how Jihad must be raged, then they put down the phone as we listen and straight away, within seconds, the preaching extremist Imam phones a sex chat line lol. This happens all the time! Anyway, yeah you have Obama, you aint got to lie Obama, you aint got to lie! Everybody knows anyway, its just the specifics that are best kept secret. That Snowden has said nothing that is of any real threat to securty, just facts already known, that's what makes me question his cause, although had he gone in to the very specifics of how it all works, yeah he'd be dead and the American administration wouldn't be the only ones wanting him dead if he disclosed such details.

Lower odds mean something is more likely, not less. He means the "chances" of dying in a terrorist attack, surely.

What is it then, O? A Domestic Patriotism Program?

A Domestic Propaganda Program?

A Domestic Enslaving Program?

A Domestic Sell-Yourself-Down-The-River Program?

Chronic pathological liars . . .

as the Liar/Narcissist/Destroyer In Chief so relentlessly demonstrates . . .

don't appear to even think they are lying.

Their construction on "reality" seems to be very . . . "fluid."

It is amazing that politicians can deny something like this and admit to it in the same 5 minutes by describing it or changing its name and everyone is totally ok with it. Then if you bring it up all current supporters of what ever admin is in charge do is bring up the opposing party rather than support anything of actual benefit..... Wow.

Wonder if he is talking about Hastings there ?

POTUS said government surveillance is a "critical component to counterterrorism." But, he said, he knows that the surveillance programs have "raised a lot of questions for people."

"We don’t have a domestic spying program. What we do have is some mechanisms that can track a phone number or an email address that is connected to a terroritst attack...That information is useful."

Don't listen to those voices that warn you about government tyranny

So I am more likey to die in a car accident(Michael Hastings) than I am a terrorist attack eh?

So why close all those embassies, and travel alerts?

We don't have a 'domestic spying program' ? ? ?

We don't ? ?

There is your POTUS Americans taking us all for fools.

Yes We Can lie all they want no worries they won't be held accountable for it.
