Ok I lied, haha.

So did Richard Nixon and we pardoned him!

Keep the music coming...... I'm listening

This thread will accept any nominations from any music genre.

We've seen quite a lot of rap and modern rock and classic rock. And we do need more classic rock!

Reply to myself to explain to everybody why Neil Young's Ohio should be on this Conspiracy playlist.

one ringing command: “need to get out story of sniper.”

April 18, 1970. Richard Nixon is in Hawaii with the crew of Apollo 13.
April 25, 1970. Richard Nixon screens "Patton" for the second time in a month.
April 30, 1970. Richard Nixon invades Cambodia on Live Tv.
May 4, 1970. Kent State Massacre in Ohio.

Yet the Kent State “sound of sniper fire” remains key, according to White House Chief of Staff Bob Haldeman, who noted President Richard Nixon’s reaction to Kent State in the Oval Office on May 4, 1970:

“Chief of Staff Bob Haldeman told him [of the killings] late in the afternoon. But at two o’clock Haldeman jotted on his ever-present legal pad “keep P. filled in on Kent State.” In his daily journal Haldeman expanded on the President’s reaction: “He very disturbed. Afraid his decision set it off . . . then kept after me all day for more facts. Hoping rioters had provoked the shootings—but no real evidence that they did.” Even after he had left for the day, Nixon called Haldeman back and among others issued one ringing command: “need to get out story of sniper.” Source www.counterpunch.org...

And of course, the classic... A sad testament of our times, written in 1969.

"King Crimson - 21st Century Schizoid Man".... (w/built in schizoid musical tracks, like they were trying to kill something at the end of the song).

Neurosurgeon screams!!!
Nothing he's got, he really needs,
21st century schizoid man...

Wow!! It's surprising there's so much conspiracy themed music.

This one may not quite fit the category, but it was the first that came to mind. It always gave me chills, beautiful, sad song.

Another song that came to mind is "We Don't Get Fooled Again" by The Who:

We'll be fighting in the streets
With our children at our feet
And the morals that they worship will be gone
And the men who spurred us on
Sit in judgment of all wrong
They decide and the shotgun sings the song

I'll tip my hat to the new constitution
Take a bow for the new revolution
Smile and grin at the change all around me
Pick up my guitar and play
Just like yesterday
And I'll get on my knees and pray
We don't get fooled again
Don't get fooled again

Change it had to come
We knew it all along
We were liberated from the fall that's all
But the world looks just the same
And history ain't changed
'Cause the banners, they all flown in the last war

I'll tip my hat to the new constitution
Take a bow for the new revolution
Smile and grin at the change all around me
Pick up my guitar and play
Just like yesterday
And I'll get on my knees and pray
We don't get fooled again
No, no!

I'll move myself and my family aside
If we happen to be left half alive
I'll get all my papers and smile at the sky
For I know that the hypnotized never lie

Do ya?

There's nothing in the street
Looks any different to me
And the slogans are replaced, by-the-bye
And the parting on the left
Is now the parting on the right
And the beards have all grown longer overnight

I'll tip my hat to the new constitution
Take a bow for the new revolution
Smile and grin at the change all around me
Pick up my guitar and play
Just like yesterday
Then I'll get on my knees and pray
We don't get fooled again
Don't get fooled again
No, no!

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!

Meet the new boss
Same as the old boss
