COLUMBUS, Texas – Authorities say a Houston-area man turned the tables on two bank robbery suspects who had abducted him and his wife by pulling a gun on the unsuspecting duo and shooting them both, killing one of them.
The suspects apparently knew that the woman worked at the First National Bank of Eagle Lake in Columbus, and they abducted her and her husband at gunpoint at their residence north of the city on Thursday and drove them back to the bank, Columbus County Sheriff's Sgt. Andrew Weido told Houston television station KHOU.
The suspects forced the woman to taken an undisclosed amount of money from the bank, then forced the husband to drive them in his truck down Highway 71, Weido said. It was then that the husband grabbed a gun that was in the truck and fired at the suspects, he said.

So where are all the anti-gun [snipped] that say they should have ran away or something???
You are the only tard here if any, you are completly misunderstanding the real problem of citizens having guns to protect them self, and citizens misusing the guns they have to protect them self, small "happy ending" cases like this are very rare compared to the daily gun violence, so actually you can't call any tards as this has nothing to do with the gun regulations disscused at other incidents or as a whole.

One of the wounded, 20-year-old Jordan Kutach, was airlifted to Memorial Hermann Hospital in critical condition. The other, 21-year-old Preston Kutach, was taken by EMS to the Columbus Community Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Both suspects lived in the community of Rock Island and neighbors said they were brothers.
...
Those who know them said the husband is a reserve officer with the sheriff’s department and that the community has their back.
...
Investigators said the couple did not know their attackers, and it is unclear how they became targets.

Deputies say the incident started earlier when a female bank employee and her husband were held at gun point by those two suspects inside their Columbus area residence.
According to investigators, the suspects had already taken the woman's husband captive when she arrived home from work.

He was a tough-loving big brother, but looked after his siblings, most especially Jordan, for his entire life- all the way to the end. Preston ultimately gave his life for love. He has paid his dues. He is square with the house. The Bible says, “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.” Preston had the biggest and most loving heart, and he wore it in his smile for the whole world to see, a beautiful and unforgettable smile that everyone knows and loves and will always remember him by.
