No names were called, but some egos may have been bruised in the making of this thread.

And yes, my question has been answered, mainly by the silence of the moderators.

ATS does promote civil discussion.

Part of being civil is to recognize when you have been had by a joke and to be a good sport about it. Another part of civility is recognizing that not all jokes are funny when the limitations of text are vague so you don't make the joke.

Since this thread on civility has turned into something less than civil it shall be closed, lest it become confused as promoting incivility.
