Finally, a story about LEO's doing their job by the book and ending a potentially deadly situation with only a few minor injuries.

Hydro-Quebec workers went onto the property of an elderly citizen to change a meter and the old man threatened them with a gun, they called the police, the police came to investigate and atleast one shot was fired toward them (and get this, they didn't shoot back!). SWAT teams came in, break the door down and seized the man with 2 rubber bullets. Lasted 20 hours. No one dead.

20 Hourd Stand-Off ends with Minor Injuries

Thought it'd be nice to see our fellow LEO's doing what they should in a situation like this instead of having a quick-trigger (as seen with the Toronto police recently).

That was in Quebec. There is a different set of tradition, mindset, and customs in that French-speaking province. That helps me believe there is still some hope left in the world, but perhaps not in the English-speaking world.
