Who is creating the problem?
It is, of course, the depressed, the syllogicians, who are depressed and hit out at what they feel is an unmanipulatable world.

A good example of such types, are the doctors. Doctors have 130% higher risk of suicide and much more depression than most.

But we're looking at people far beyond common doctors - like the mad seed scientists of Monsanto.
Nobody takes them seriously, so they hurt...
They will create the problems (destruction of the world) and a problem will be created inside them... the problem of Alzheimer's Disease at old age.

No wonder that disease's prevalence is skyrocketing, especially in America.

To answer your question, WHO... check out my work, search for djedefsauron, you'll get all your answers. You should discuss my work with others before some ignorant hackers, feeling that I'm against them rather than for them, take it offline...
a risk I must live with :|

The only new normal is the "them" not caring whether we know we're slaves. Funny thing is, your average slave still doesn't realize they're a slave.

There is nothing any of us can do on ATS or anywhere else until the above statement becomes false.

See, your average slave recognizes that things are wrong and certainly uneven re: the haves v. Have nots. But, and this is or will eventually be the catalyst and that is the realization that we are all slaves. It is at that point the people will revolt. But they are in denial and so long as government continues to behave without ANY consideration for their subjects it will happen eventually, you just need for them to grossly over reach.

Another words, once your average self-absorbed slave is forced to accept a reality that was hidden, is when you can hope for revolt.

As it stands, we are far away from that point. Don't believe me? Spark up a conversation with the employee at your local mini-mart. Your cabby. Your mail man.

Ask them one question. "What's your take on Edward Snowden?"

If the response is anything other than:
I would # myself.

The problem is, too many are ALSO proud of it as well.

We shall defend our ATS , whatever the cost may be, we shall fight in the threads, we shall fight them in every post, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender.

Never give up, Never Surrender ! !

We simply lay down roll over play dead ?

They win.

It seems to me they already won cause there are just too many apathetic people today!

Most people know the US is a fascist corptocracy (crony capitalism) run by the 1% faceless elite who are destroying traditional America and will depopulate the useless eaters yet they do nothing about it. Cathrine Austin Fitts in an interview with Greg Hunter (at the 33 minute point) said she did a survey at a seminar and found that 99% of attendees were OK with this criminal government so long as they stayed rich. It's probably safe to assume about that many who get gov't checks directly or indirectly feel the same. Both the elite and the majority of voters are to blame. TPTB are in the process of crashing this system (using controlled politics, MSM, finance, education, military/police, NSA, IRS, etc, to destroy the economy, culture/morals, military, etc). I believe some foreign black swans will upset their controlled destruction and result in a sudden crash, hunger, riots, etc, that will cause them to go to plan b (Marshal Law, 1.6 billion hollow-points, Russian & Chinese troops and FEMA Death Camps), Only then do I expect rural people will fight (liberal metro-sexuals will be slaughtered like sheep). The beautiful elite have post-war plans for only a couple million people, a global dollar, robotics, peace and plenty like a New Atlantis.

Twenty years ago Gerry Spence wrote "From Freedom To Slavery".. He was able to see where we were headed then... His book was being removed from stores by those in high places that didn't want it available to the masses.. It was almost impossible to find anywhere until about 1998... Even today it is a real eye opener for anyone that wants to be aware of how long this downward spiral has been occurring.... If everyone that as bought into the two party nonsense and fear that has been used to divide the country had read this book and taken it to heart, we wouldn't have been manipulated into accepting the insane system that people are only now acknowledging by creating and posting on threads like this one.

The biggest division now is between the Peter producers (in decline) and the Paul socialist takers. The Pauls so outnumber the Peters now that America is in a death spiral. I'm a farmer but instead of investing in more food production (that would be taxed or regulated beyond profitability or outright taken by the communist), I'm buying guns, ammo, and supplies for my retreat. Mid-sized businesses are hording cash when they can. For 200 years, the self-responsible Peters dominated but with WWll, the job holders became the majority. They had a great run until NAFTA (negotiated under Bush in 1992 and signed under Clinton in 1994) popped their bubble. My ancestors were crackers (wagon drivers) and blacksmiths, etc. Around 1900, gas trucks became available and crackers either bought one or took another trade. Today, 3rd world peasants or robots are taking "our" jobs and many of our recent unemployed have become political Pauls. Rome wasn't just overextended, the politicians were corrupt and the citizens to lazy to work or join the Army. In 1811, Luddites began smashing machines in England. Since the Jobs Bubble in America burst, the Pauls have elected most politicians who began robbing the Peters with taxes; that bubble has now popped and most cities and some states have become unsustainable. It'll be years, if ever, before he Pauls regain their senses and vote conservatives in to change laws to allow good jobs to start increasing. The old paradyne of self-sufficiency should become the new paradyne but I suspect like Rome, the lazy citizens will riot and gut the whole country.

The rulers are worried about their privileges. They do not care about the people.

The wise have always told that wealth cannot exist without peace. The peace cannot exist without justice. And the justice cannot exist without truthfulness.

The USA has reached a sorry state where its rulers are often on drugs. An invisible shadow government is making decisions for the country. The politicians and military leaders are paid large sums by the shadow government to do its bidding. The public is disconnected from the government. The public has been reduced to beggars who are dependent on the largesse of the government. The bulk of the population engages in "volatile" jobs dependent on government policy rather than real economy based on people's fundamental needs.

I do not see how such a State can last very long.

Well my friend I believe it is the Military Industrial Complex, the 1%, the Fascists, the Oligarchs, oh, and the low information voters who throw around words like communism and socialism before they take out a dictionary and look up those words.

You know, it has not always been that way. The preiod after the civil war was a time when all those ideas about liberty I see here on ATS was actually being out into practice for the most part.

I read through you post and the OPs linked in your signature. Thought provoking and well written, but to people like me it scares the bejesus out of us.

On the face of it, it seems to be, in the main, highly collectivist, with a focus on society in general and what each cog ought to be doing for society, A system like that has no less potential for abuse than the one we have now.

Personally, I don't have much interest in society, riches, or comfort. I do understand that those things drive most of the individuals on this planet, I'm just not quite sure what drives me. For example, I actively shun and shy away from comfort, because comfort breeds complacency. I shy away from an excess of money, because money brings with it far too many complications. People tend to think they need far more stuff than they actually do, and most of it really isn't good for them, but it is their life to live, so I leave them be.

Most troubling, I think, were the posts on education and health care. The educational system outlined seemed geared to produce cogs in a machine. Sure, they seem to be allowed to choose what sort of cog they'd like to be, but cogs nonetheless. Faceless automatons existing for the sole purpose of gratifying a society. It did not appear to be education for learning's sake. Likewise, the health care stipulated that a government should be intent on looking after the health of those cogs. That is very troubling to me indeed. I want no part of the medical establishment. I certainly don't want the government interfering in my health choices and forcing me to interact with that medical establishment. I have not been to a doctor in nearly 30 years, nor will I ever go to another. When my time is up, I'll breathe my last and be done with it, as nature dictates. Making me "look after my health", in a government-approved and dictated manner, simply isn't going to happen - now or ever. I'm not a cog in their machine, and they don't need to check my oil or lubricate me. I'll do that myself if I feel a need. When the time comes that I no longer can, nature has provided a remedy for that. I will die. We all are going to some day, anyhow. No need to prolong it merely to increase my productivity and value to society.

I wish you luck with your objectives. I just don't want to live to see them realized. They appear to involve the death of the individual in sacrifice to a society that will be an organism to itself.

WHICH civil war?

Can't be the American Civil War, because the period after the American Civil War was euphemistically called "Reconstruction", and was a period of time in which what is now the entire southern tier of states was occupied by a foreign enemy, divided into military districts, and governed by a military government operated by an occupation army, and a great many of the citizens thereof were disenfranchised from voting or having any say in how the government was to be structured or operate.

Whatever that is, it's not most folks' notion of "liberty".

I agree 100% and this is due to the MSM brainwashing of public opinion which has lead to division, complacency and apathy! There will be a heavy price to pay for this kind of thinking, if not by god directly then through man indirectly!

The progressive liberal machine is on your side. They blame government policy as the cause of all the problems, just like you. While you weren't paying attention, the conservatives have done everything in their power to morph the US into a military police state. The conservatives created the debt building up the military, and the morality police with the war on drugs, and the progressive liberals were there helping them every step of the way.

Sold to the highest bidder, and you don't even know it.

Yeah the banks and corporations are the problem!!!

Yeah, the banks and the corporations are the problem.

The revolutionary war was fought against the banks and the corporations, created by the crown.

And now they are working to reinstate global aristocracy.

And people foolishly blame democracy.
