Moon is disappearing?

last night i went into the living room and my sister told me that on the news they said that the moon was disappearing so i looked outside and it just looks like a cloud is over it but i am very open minded i kept looking but no answers onto if it is a cloud or is it disappearing. anybody hear bout that last night?

Yea, it was a lunar eclipse last night. Unfortuneatly, I didnt get to see it. It was raining and cloudy .. Everytime an eclipse happens I never get to see it

It was awesome, I just gave a hungry man five bucks so I consider seeing it to be my reward because I had totally forgot about it lol.

I missed it full, but watched it from mostly full to the end, nothing beats seeing the curve of our earth on that heavenly face.

...as I did, there's supposed to be another one in December, sure beats 3 years. Solar eclipses are cooler though.
