Americans committed the worst genocide in world history

Knowing the truth about history is key to not repeating the bad parts. I dislike threads that have a flavor of blame for actions in the past which the current people cannot and should not take responsibility for. Having said that, I hope the native Indian population gets all they can, keeps the government off their land, and makes millions off of stupid people who want to gamble away their lunch money.

The living conditions on many reservations are very sad. Before we spend one more dime on anyone in another country, I say we fix our own mess on the reservations NOW! It's appalling that more people do not see a sense of responsibility to give assistance. I also don't like big government assistance. My family supported Indian tribes as my father was Mayan and had a lot of love for the natives.

I wish churches cared as much about helping at home as they do sending missionaries far and wide to help there. I am not against helping people in Africa or other countries after we take care of those right on our own soil!

I may have missed it, but what is your ancestry? Do you feel guilt for all their past crimes? What is the purpose of your thread? I don't think or at least I hope it's not dickering over how many were slaughtered. What exactly do you want?

I don't care how they get their money as long as it's not murdering or kidnapping people who come onto their land. For all I care, they can sell pot, coc aine, and any other drug some idiot wants to buy. My point is I hope the Indians do all they can to succeed. If you don't like choices in money making and betterment, how about they all get an education and become lawyers, doctors, teachers, scientists, engineers drill oil on their land, make a new professional sport and charge billions to watch it, start their own tv networks and charge billions for commercials, make cute dolls and trinkets, or do something they enjoy and earn a good living at it.

Is their condition completely outside their own choices? If someone is born into poverty and there are plenty of free education and grant opportunities and they choose not to take advantage of it is that your fault? Again, I hope they succeed, I am glad some tribes are succeeding. I have heard some rumors though that it's sort of like animal farm there too. Some are getting way more of the benefit than others of their same tribe. Who is to blame for that?

"Americans" are just as guilty as any European nation. Your fecel matter stinks just as much of the rest of the world and your history is as tarnished.

I agree with you about those elites, but the average Brit does not bear the responsibility of their crown unless you expect them to storm the castle, lock em up, new baby included and do away with it. Also target the bankers, liquidate their holdings and end usury. Most were forced into military service. Few wanted it, and those that did were played by the "Pride" of country crap.

All this hatred over the past is just more evidence of how sick we are. When will we learn we are being played and this hateful distraction of you vs. me only helps them!

The "funny" thing about all of this is, is that after the Genocide, the Natives never received their own country.

I.E. Palestine.

So why do the Jews get their own country after a genocide, but other cultures or races don't? Maybe because their more white then Asians or Natives? Even then what about the Russians under the Jewish Zionist Lenin? Why didn't they get their own country after the genocide under Lenin?

Ah I"m Canadian.

We have carried out a 400 year genocide on our native American population . I'm actively involved with our local Aboriginals in matters that they care about. Fracking for example.

I'm not pushing the blame to somebody else, I'm simply stating that the genocide was started and mostly carried out by imperialists from nations of France and Britain.

The subsequent cultural destruction was carried out by those who lived there and yes 'Americans' are responsible just like 'Canadians' are here for not standing up and doing something about it, when it would have mattered.
