That and it just seems like such a non story in the grand scheme of things.

How can you say such a thing? However you spin it, this case touched on 3 important US issues - race relations(yes, despite what the judge, the prosecution or Trayvon's parents said, if Trayvon had been white, Zimmerman would not have suspected him of being the black youth who he believed had been trying to rob his pal's house), gun availability and how it makes people do dumb # they wouldn't do without one, and self-defence laws.

The Smithsonian museums each seem to have a lot more junk in them then when I was a kid.

They've devolved into some sort of pseudo high-brow Hard Rock Cafe.
