Alberto Gonzales is the man who substitutes Ashcroft, can believe it since Gonzales is (to say the least) half Mexican..!

What does that mean....?

That The Bush Admin is ready to push a feasible and workable migration treaty?
A more comprehensive bilateral trade and stronger alliance?

All of the above
None of the above....

I hope this guy makes a good job because Ashcroft was not a sweet guy and we Mexicans dont need yet another reason for US citizens to hate us

There have been many Gonzales missteps but attention has focused recently on a memorandum he wrote to Bush on Jan. 25, 2002, in which he said that the Geneva Conventions on prisoners of war should not apply to al-Qaida or Taliban prisoners. Gonzales said the war on terrorism "in my judgment renders obsolete Geneva's strict limitations on questioning of enemy prisoners."

[Sarcasm]Yeah much better than ashcroft[/Sarcasm] Anyone who wants to restrict the Geneva Convention should not be involved in gov't. Yet another fumble by the bush camp....
