Cut and Paste issue with Firefox

I heard there are issues with the cut and paste function acting wonky in Firefox 22. I have had no problems till today!
I can usually copy text from a webpage, but now the paste function is gone. Some tech forums claim Firefox 23 has solved the problem, so I downloaded it. It didn't solve the problem. I've rebooted and tried closing every app I could till the system is really running streamlined. (I thought maybe another app was screwing with the clipboard)

As I sit here, I cannot cut and paste. it's definitely a browser problem. Cut and Paste works fine in my Windows 7 with Word, notepad and other text editors. Anyone have any ideas?

Problem resolved...there is a 'reset firefox' option in the "help"----"troubleshooting information" menu on firefox.
The paste function is working again.

Been using Firefox 22 under Linux for months with absolutely no problems with cut and paste.
Adobe and Flash is another matter!
