The object in the back is obviously a plane. Red light on one wing, green light on the other with a flashing strobe will always be a plane. The object in front is the refueling plane. The guy says "multiple orbs" on the object in front. Those "orbs" are actually the spotlights on the refueling plane:

And a view from directly behind the refueling plane:

It amazes me in this day and age that people still don't know what a plane looks like. This video looks like a simple nighttime refueling practice.

Too low? Low-altitude refueling began back in the mid 1980's. There are plenty of military documents and other articles around the web that discusses low-altitude refueling and why they sometimes refuel at low altitudes.

Too far apart? Did you watch the entire video? The objects became one, both very close together towards the end of the video.

It's a refueling exercise. Nothing more.

they merge into one because of line of sight.
their speed appears to be not to great..doesnt appear to be jets.
under 10,000 feet for air refueling is not the norm...
unless maybe for helicopters.
was this a helicopter?

They can practice air refueling at any altitude they so desire. I've already read at least one military document and other articles about low-altitude refueling, so your claims are not very credible at the moment.

Either way, no matter what altitude the planes are at in the video, it's an obvious refueling exercise with a plane in the back, and a refueling plane in the front with the rear spot lights on.

Believe what you will. This was an easy one to identify.

I saw this exact craft in the 90's, about 30 miles from where this one was spotted. I wrote about it in a thread last year, as that thread also showed this aircraft, and again in Oregon.
Very low to the trees, loud, and same lights. It is may UFO experience, and was incredible and beyond explanation!

not saying you are right...or wrong.
just saying it doesnt appear to be that to me.

Here is the thread.

It is amazing, because nearly 20 years after this life changing experience, a couple vids of what I saw have emerged.

now THAT video....
convinces me of air refueling.
notice the speed.

Notice the Tanker does not have flashing lights toward the end of the video...

To the OP. That was an interesting video but not completely anomolous once I started doing some investigating on Night Time Refueling the more convincing and plausible it became. Now if one of them zipped off at an incredible speed, stopped or did some 90 degree turns then I think UFO...

The thing that struck me about the vid was the lack of strobe lights on the lead object.

In these videos of other night time refuelings, the refueling aircraft don't have any strobe lights flashing either. Maybe its to avoid blinding the pilot in the following aircraft?

i may be wrong..but the original OP video does not meet this criteria.
to slow..........
i understand things have changed since my air refueling days in the 1980's.
but..low level refueling was generally not done..
due to limited level of recoup in case of mishap.
the speed in the OP video is very slow..
doesnt appear to be jet powered..
my own opinion.

You keep saying that, but I've already stated that you can read the publicly-released military documents and other articles through a simple Google search pertaining to low-altitude refueling, and why low-altitude refueling was implemented and currently being used in certain situations.

If you're that incapable of doing a quick Google search to read the documents and articles, I supposed I could do it again just for you and post the links.

The speed of the plane and tanker in the video looks correct to me.

really? how many jets have you watched fly over at low altitude...
that slow...and refueling?

Again, you're free to believe whatever makes you happy. It has been sufficiently shown to be a refueling exercise by myself and others.

How can you tell how far away they are or how fast they're moving?

not hard really..the fact that you can see the nav, lights
gauge the speed against the background stars.
flying low and slow....

But doesn't that require you to know how large the aircraft is or how far apart the particular stars are angularly?
