Are you creative when it comes to thinking of names for websites? Because I'm not! I need an idea for an entertainment website that will be heavily based on humor but will have other forms of entertainment as well (for example, many people find articles and videos about political and social change entertaining).

I prefer a one word title, but it can be up to three. If it can be a powerful and symbolic one word, that would be even better. It also has to not currently be taken as a .com domain, or at least can be changed for the domain name while still being recognizable (for instance, if "abovetopsecret.com" were taken, they could have changed it to "ats.com").

If I choose your name, I'll contact you at the time of launch (it will probably be a while, so be patient) to let you know that I chose your name, and to possibly arrange for some sort of agreement to use it, within T&C, of course.

Your help is very much appreciated! Thank you!

It also has to not currently be taken as a .com domain,

There goes almost any pronounceable word or combination of words, regardless of if the end result makes any sense or not. Also, intentionally misspelling doesn't necessarily help. You'd be surprised.

But..:

angrygiggles.com ? Be quick.
(You should probably forward it to angry-giggles.com and take both)

Thank you all for the ideas! I appreciate it. I won't officially choose one until I'm done with the basic layout, so if anyone else has any ideas, I'd love to hear them! Thank you again!

I find a thesaurus, and domain name generator sites to be helpful when faced personally with your task. Here are a couple:

BustAName
NameBoy

Some words for you:

Amuse
Amusing
Humor
Funny
Entertainment

News
Announcement
Info
Data
Broadcast

NewsAmuse? Rhymes, catchy... but taken! At least the .com.
Prefer an easy acronym such as my initials?

www.AmusingAnnouncement.com... ?

Good luck,

-AA
