EORGE TOWN: A pole that was attached to a 21-storey building in Jalan Macalister came crashing down after a thunderstorm, crushing vehicles travelling below, killing one and injuring five with two seriously wounded.
The dead was identified as Jahir Hussain Sulaiman, 46, the co-driver of the lorry carrying LPG.
In the 6:45pm incident, six cars and a lorry were crushed by the giant white-coloured pole.
The LPG canisters were seen lying all over road, risking possible explosion.
The injured are identified as Norhalis Hayati Abd Latif, 30, Abd Latif Ramli, 71, Mohamad Badrul, 32, Rudi Ahmad, 34, and Samsiah Salim, 49.

Why is this in "Breaking Alternative" news?

Its neither "breaking", since it happened more than a month ago, and bits of a building collapsing in a third world country could hardly be said to be "alternative".

The analysis of "bits of a building collapsing",,seems suspect,,looks cgi?,,but maybe there is a breaking news as ,it does take a bit of time too ,get info out of a THIRD WORLD COUNTRY,,as u so eliquently state. As far as news,,ya guess not much news in,,a journalistic way,, but still curious from a realistic versus fantasy, explanation,, watch the video?

It was also reported that 293 houses in many parts of the state were damaged in the storm that day, including 125 in Seberang Perai Tengah and 94 in Seberang Perai Utara...
