This happened to Luke from "We Are Change" a few weeks ago too. Its commonly known that "The Cabal" uses such techniques to silence people including journalists.

The tor protocol has absolutely nothing to do with the bittorrent protocol.

The first is commonly associated with the onion network. The second is associated with p2p networking.

Mother Jones has been quite vocally against the NDAA so I kinda doubt it was them. Amazing though that you cry foul though while elbowing someone else in the face. For the record I don't think this is right at all and hopefully whoever did it is caught.

It maybe be government or private sector enemies (e.g. Mother Jones).

I was only stating that the example given (e.g.) in the video of a possible enemy was Mother Jones. Victim's words not mine. If he would have said KKK or MADD I would have said that. It was not my intention to slam Mother Jones.

I ended up watching the video in the OP and others posted throughout the thread, along with the links above.

I wasn't aware that it had been done and basically proven in the past as a tactic. It's a bit too insidious for me to agree with on first glance.

Now that I've done a bit more reading, it does seem like somebody, be it a troll or an enemy of these people is attempting to get them into trouble.

Interesting to say the least.
