Help Me ATS... Or The Alien Gets It!!!

Hi again ATS!

I have a quandary that is threatening to rip apart the very fibers of my being, and I need your help desperately! While I do not watch much television at all, I do tend to stream an episode or two of a very short list of shows when I am getting ready to sleep. My problem is that I am now caught totally up on every single show that I watch and all of my shows are currently out of season.

I desperately need recommendations from a community that I know shares my interests!

My current "watch" list is:

  1. The Walking Dead
  2. Breaking Bad
  3. Supernatural
  4. Game of Thrones
  5. House

There is a show that has been recommended to me by a few people, True Blood - but I just cannot get into it for some reason.

So, ATS-ites... based upon the above list and your own preferences... Anyone have any great shows to recommend? Preferably ones that are at least a few seasons in - so that it will take me awhile to get caught up.

Thanks!

Disclaimer: No aliens were harmed during the writing of this OP. All violence against extraterrestrial entities was computer simulated. Though Greenpeace did jump the gun by freaking out and ramming my house with an old fishing boat.

Continuum was pretty cool.
I only saw one season though on Netflix.

And honestly lately..I have been wanting to watch funny and 'that 70's show' is actually really funny...at least imo.

Oh meh...sorry that I recommended a show that only has one season!

Revolution - About a time in the future when the world has no power, good series, good actors, good plot lines and fleshed story.

Falling Skies - Aliens invade, we fight back, good series, good actors, Steven Spielberg executive director, good plot lines and fleshed story.

True Blood - Softcore Porn with great acting and supernatural themes. Good fun...

Once upon a time - Fantasy series about all the story book characters from that other realm being cursed to live in our realm with no knowledge of who they really are. Some good actors....but overall great story/plot..Robert Carlyle as Rumpelstiltskin is brilliant.

I also hear the new Sherlock Holmes series is good and the series Grimm....also supposed to be good.

Have you ever watched Battlestar Galactica? Great series.

I'm gonna have to watch that myself!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I wish I had more suggestions for shows, but mine are pretty simple.

Deadliest Catch
Paranormal Witness
Dead Files

That's about all the TV I watch,
My wife would say
Sons of Anarchy

"American Horror Story" season one and two. The first season is totally different from the second but they use many of the same actors and it's really good.

If you want to just laugh and not take a show serious then watch "Todd and the Book of Pure Evil."

I'm going to start "Breaking Bad" soon myself but out of your list I would start with "Game of Thrones". I can't wait for Thrones to come back on. I'm still tripping on the end of Season 3. Awesome show.

I watch all those show too, and I have also enjoyed the following.

Sherlock BBC
Life on Mars BBC
Grimm NBC
and for something lighter and nerdy

How I met your mother and Community are the only two sitcoms I can stomach.
