From what I've seen, people are fed up with politicians in general. I've found that people just go on keeping up appearances because they feel there is nothing they can do about it.

Maybe he is reminding his supporters that Presidents only have two terms in office and they have 1200 days to change that. Scary.

I am pro Obama.....that doesnt mean I like everything he does....but what I want to know is all of this criticism he gets.....the same # was happening under W. And you know what? The people who are yelling for revolution now did not bother to complain the slightest during our last administration's similar or same actions......so, where were they? I know damn well they were not complaining when the Patriot Act was passed.....

Where were all the Bush haters when the Foreign Intelligence Service Act was passed?

Or the Ominbus Counter terrorism Act of 1995 ?

The FISA

Created and passed under the Carter Administration, Expanded under numerous other administration including the guy who campaigned on say spying bad 'he was going to end it'.

The Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act of 1978 ("FISA" Pub.L. 95–511, 92 Stat. 1783, 50 U.S.C. ch. 36) is a United States law which prescribes procedures for the physical and electronic surveillance and collection of "foreign intelligence information" between "foreign powers" and "agents of foreign powers" (which may include American citizens and permanent residents suspected of espionage or terrorism).[1] The law does not apply outside the United States. The law has been repeatedly amended since the September 11 attacks.

So the PAtriot Act was an amendment on already preexisting law.
