I came across this article last week and I meant to post it, but got a little busy with real life things, so sorry for the delay.

Here are a couple snippets so you get a idea of what it is about. The first snippet I am using not only for its content, but to also let you know that you can go read what the university studies have to say HERE

These four different university studies listed below reveal a lot about the psychology of official story ‘gatekeepers’ and how irrational and emotionally unstable they become when challenged with an alternative view…

This next snippet should make you feel a little better about questioning things that dont add up for you, or, lol, being a member of this site:

Recent studies by psychologists and social scientists in the US and UK suggest that contrary to mainstream media stereotypes, those labeled “conspiracy theorists” appear to be saner than those who accept the official versions of contested events.

Besides the university studies, the article also goes on to say the the term "Conspiracy Theorists," was actually coined by the CIA to make such folks like us appear to be off our rockers for not believing official stories. According to the article, this came into play during the Kennedy assassinations. Apparently this has worked very well for them as I know many times I have been snub when presenting a different view other than MSM views and to be called "One of those "Conspiracy Theorists" like its a bad thing. Im sure many of you have received similar responses.

As much as I would love to post the whole article, that would be a no no, but I do suggest you give it a look over as it is a quick read. You might be amazed at just how true the whole thing rings as far as how people act.

You can READ THE ARTICLE HERE

Maybe ATS members aren't so Crazy afterall

Damn! And I was counting on the insanity factor to save my butt when the drones come with the guys dressed in black body armor to knock down my door and arrest me for being a threat to the state because I come here to ATS and run my mouth...

We ARE crazy, All of us! Hear that NSA??? We're nuts!

There are plenty of insane ATS members, we get treated to their insanity now and then in threads. You can't deny it. But it doesn't surprise me that those of us considered "conspiracy theorists" would be "saner" than the rest. We are mostly educated, intelligent, inquisitive, and tend to really immerse ourselves in a given topic, I know I do.

I find it much more insane to blindly believe what I'm told without the ability to test it for myself.

And this is news to you?

Of course we are the sane ones! Its everyone else that's crazy. Well, actually I've read some pretty crazy crap on here too.

Seriously though, people don't come to question the flow of events in the world by being dumb and uninformed.

Ain't that the truth. Well at least a few are walking the line. I think most are sane if not a little eccentric.

Conspiracy theorists are simply normal people who have realised that powerful people, like everybody else, really do lie

I kinda want to print out this report from the OP and wave it around to the people who called me crazy.... Hence, verifying that I am crazy because I would be flailing papers around stating that I'm sane...

This is a dilly of a pickle....

Damn it! They figured us out!!

Now we really are a threat to them!!

{…looks for drones flying…}

I’ve got to go…the black helicopters are circling (or my neighbor is mowing grass…I can’t tell which).

On a serious note, did we REALLY need any reassurance? I never questioned my own sanity...have you?

I'm a middle-aged man with a crying bunny avatar.

Yeah, a real ###ing shining example of sanity!

Maybe, if their "official stories" matched a little closer, to what they taught us in their school system, we would believe their lies and wouldn't sound so crazy. Come on now. A "suicide" with 2 bullets in the back of the head?

If your bunny was wearing a skirt I'd be more concerned about your mental health!

I think you'll be fine, Beezz!

Lol, Im glad you folks are having fun with this!

I know for myself I didnt need any confirmation, but it was still good to read regardless, and yes, I agree, we do have a few members here that are a bit "Out There."

I can't help but wonder though, what other "Titles" the CIA has come up with to be "Keywords" to make one look like a nut automatically. For instance, what about the folks that know what they saw when they say they have seen a UFO. Seems to me they fall into the same kind of category yes?

I must admit, some days I do wonder whether I' am the crazy one - but then generally speaking what I thought was coming or working up towards ends up becoming true.

About five years ago I mentioned to friends about the way things were going in terms of internet control, oil prices and trends with wars/globalisation etc. My mates first kind of laughed it off, and I was known as just being the harmless eccentric. Nowadays my friends who once laughed proactively come up and ask me what my opinions are on things, like I'm some kind of cunning man.
