Boy you ATSers are slipping big time.

So I find and read one of those Mainstream Media articles about UK blocking porn by default.

And I go to comment section of the article and IMMEDIATELY see
the highest rated post talks about how this law will eventually be used to block things UK government doesn't like.

How it would start first slowly and by "accident" but it would be an attempt to block free speech.

NOPE 2 pages in on one of the busiest threads on the subject, still nothing.

No doubt 4-5-6 pages in, someone probably mentioned it. But come on guys, you gotta be sharper.

That thread appeared to be started by a resident of the UK and she was ok with the idea, so she lead the way in that theme, but you can see most didn't agree with her.

I think that's because what you are saying is sort of a default perspective here. It doesn't really need to be said.

It's like complaining about a UFO thread because nobody mentioned that there might be aliens inside of them or a 9/11 thread that didn't explicitly say that the government was involved. Those things are given assumptions on ATS, conventional wisdom, etc.

you are missing the point, of course ATS contains such posts, but they are not front posts on topic like this
