Dr Steven M Greer announced at the 2013 Nexus Conference (on Sunday 23rd June), that he will be visiting Australia at the end of August 2013. He has been invited to speak at a private meeting of government and other officials. Dr Greer may be doing a lecture or one or two day workshop.

The CDRG is the source of the information.

I am currently finding out more info regarding this meeting to confirm it and provide details.

Where does it say government from your sources?

Why does the Australian government need to fly Greer to Australia to talk about such things?

Isn't it already common knowledge that Australia, Canada, New Zealand and Britain have been walking lock step re: PRISM?

Why not just listen to his per-recorded calls? I am sure the NSA was kind enough to give the Aussies a VPN access with a super top secret password of abc123.

No need to cause a commotion of sending a known alien freak when they already know everything he's got to say.

I personally cannot stand Steven Greer; his 'energy' (for want of a better expression) is absolutely creepy. He could be a lunar base extraterrestrial operating undercover to bring UFOlogy into disrepute.

However, I am curious as to whether he will in fact be speaking to members of the Australian government, and if so, why are they interested in hearing from him? Have they spotted something in the Southern skies or are they worried about Antarctica?

I somehow doubt he's been invited by the government. Maybe a secretary who works for a government advisor has booked a ticket for the Sirius premier and Greer has transformed this into briefing the Australian government.

Just like everything that Greer has ever said lets just assume he's lying so he can make more money. Untill its proven otherwise.

Its a rule of thumb that applies to Geer very aptly.
